New Percy Jackson 3 sequel movie might happen for 2015 release date. According to a recent report from the mortalnet.com message boards, 20th Century FOX is rumored to possibly be looking to make a 3rd installment for the Percy Jackson franchise,which would be titled, “The Titan’s Curse.” In addition to that, a rumored release date has also been set for October 23rd, 2015 with possible plans to make a 4th and 5th installment as well.
Keep in mind, they were also quick to state that none of this news is official as 20th Century FOX has not made an official announcement for any of this. We do know it will definitely come down to what it always comes down to, and that’s how much money will the 2nd installment rake in for the studio. The last I heard, is that it brought in a mere 5.4 million dollars for its first day. Obviously, it will have to do a lot better than that in order for the studio to keep funding this thing.
The latest, 2nd movie definitely did leave an opening for a possible 3rd movie, so we’ll see. Am in love with these movies I read all the books and am in love with the cast but Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) said “it’s open I a lot of doors but I don’t think it will happen” but I still have faith since I seen the romurs and I hope it does and if it doesn’t I will be crushed
