New About Last Night movie delivered awesome laughs,drama & more. Screen Gems (Sony) released their new romantic/comedy flick, “About Last Night” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was extremely funny and entertaining with a good ratio of romance to comedy. In other words, it was mostly funny as hell. It stars: Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Joy Bryant, Christopher McDonald, and Paula Patton.
In the new flick, four friends, Bernie (Kevin Hart), Danny (Michael Ealy), Joan (Regina Hall), and Debbie (Joy Bryant) are all caught up in very tumultuous relationships with each other. Bernie is dating Joan while Danny is dating Debbie. Like all relationships, things start off great, but they indeed, eventually run into major problems as Joan wants a bigger commitment from Bernie, who’s just not down with that.
Danny and Debbie seem ok for a few months, but the pressure of maintaining a good relationship and all the arguing just starts to be too much for Danny. These issues cause both the couples to eventually break up. However, in the end, they find themselves back in each other arms. However, that conclusion doesn’t occur without a lot of extremely heated fights and very comical moments. Some of which, entailed calling out each other’s sexual issues in public ,nasty name-calling, and so much more. I mean, it really gets ugly. However, these couples just seem to bounce right back from it.
Again, i thought the movie was extremely funny to watch ,and I was never bored for a second. Comedian ,Kevin Hart, was funny as hell right from the jump, and just never let up.
