New Brick Mansions Movie Delivered Great Action,Drama,Twists & More

Relativity Media released their new action/drama flick, “Brick Mansions,” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it, and thought it was very entertaining, delivering up plenty of hardcore action, drama, suspense, and a pretty good plotline. It stars: Paul Walker, David Belle, RZA, Gouchy Boy, Catalina Denis, and Carlo Rota.

In the new flick, the plot revolves around dystopian Detroit, abandoned brick mansions left from better times, and now houses only the most dangerous criminals. Unable to control the crime, the police constructed a colossal containment wall around the area to protect the rest of the city.

Undercover cop ,Damien Collier ( Paul Walker), eventually teams up with character, Lino, who was thrown in prison for killing a corrupt cop that got his girl, Lola, captured by a very dangerous drug gang led by Tremaine Alexander. The plan for Damien and Lino is to get Tremaine to disable a bomb they received, which is powerful enough to take out the entire Brick Mansions community.

Unfortunately a major problem arises as Tremaine doesn’t mind letting the bomb blow up the whole area, and demands a $30 million dollar payday from the mayor and the Government in order to give it up. And as extra incentive, he’s attached it to a rocket and Lino’s girl, Lola.

When there’s not enough funds to pay, Damien and Lino lie to Tremaine to buy some time to come up with a less civil way to disarm the bomb. It involved a lot of running to escape, hardcore fighting, shooting, and more, which created a very suspenseful and action-filled environment. However, when the conclusion drew near, we learned that a big twist was in play. One so large that it had Damien and Lino, teaming up with Tremaine and his crew to turn the tables back on the mayor and the Government.

Again, I thought the movie was highly entertaining and right up Paul Walker’s alley in terms of action, car chases, fighting, shooting, and things of that nature. And of course, they did dedicate the movie to his memory. Also, i’ve got a new crush in actress ,Catalina Davis, who played Lola. She was definite eye candy for this movie. Wow! Anyways, I gave the movie a definite A grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
