Big Brother 19 Paul Abrahamian Revealed His Thoughts About Losing A Second Season

As previously reported, the Big Brother season 19 finally wrapped up with a very cliffhanger finale show that resulted in houseguest Josh Martinez stealing the victory from houseguest Paul Abrahamian with a 5-4 jury vote. Afterwards, Big Brother legend Dr. Will Kirby got a chance to interview Paul during the backyard interviews.

Will said, “I’m hear LIVE with Paul. Paul, you lost Big Brother last year.” Paul jokingly said,”I lost again this year. I blew it big time.” Will jokingly said, “And you lost Candy Crush. So, what’s the next CBS show you’re gonna lose?”

Paul jokingly said,”Look CBS. Keep tossing them at me and I’ll keep losing. So, if there’s one thing I’m good at is losing close. Not so close. But, keep sending them my way.”

Will said, “Hashtag Paul for the Price Is Right because he can get in that showcase showdown.” Paul jokingly said, “Toss me on the Price Is Right. The price will definitely be wrong because I’ll lose.”

After that, they got a little more serious. Will said, “You said it on the live show that you worked your a@# off and you absolutely did from day one. In fact, many previous winners were texting me and were like, ‘You better make sure the jury votes appropriately.’ That’s not my job. All I do is just show up. I am unbiased. But, I think many people are going to say you were robbed.”

Paul said, “I’m used to it. I heard it all of last year unfortunately and I get to hear it again. But, you know they brought me back as the only vet. I was up against 15 houseguests in the beginning. I’m not sure what people expected me to do, but I had to swindle 15 people in order to get to where I was and I did. And I ended up in the final two.

I’m proud of myself. I’m proud to say that I’m a vet that came back and played Big Brother again. I didn’t sit back and watch. I played the hell out of it and if that dictates me second place again then I’ll take it with pride.”

Will said, “You have probably the greatest run in the history of 365 days because to end twice on Big Brother is nothing short of an incredible accomplishment. I don’t know if they’re going to bring you back for this, but I could easily see you on Survivor. What do you think of that? Could I put that out there?

Paul said, “You could definitely put that out there. I don’t know how I’d do on the surviving aspect. If there’s a social game, I’m down to tackle it. But ask me to catch my own fish, I’m pissed. The fish is pissed. Everybody around me is pissed. I’ll probably be faced down dead in a puddle within day twelve.”

Will jokingly said, “And the fish will vote against you. I’m not positive but I’m a huge fan of the show and I’m pretty sure you wore that shirt before. Why did you wear the unlucky shirt?”

Paul answered, “Continuity.” Will said, “I’m not a superstitious person, but you might wanna burn that shirt. I don’t even want to touch it.” Paul said, “It’s whatever dude. I partied in it last year. I’m partying in it this year. If I got second place twice. Like , I don’t know what more I could’ve done.”

Will said, “You did it all!” Paul said,”So, if that dictates losing still. Then I mean yeah I guess.” Will said, “There is a tremendous amount of just luck with any aspect of Big Brother and I can tell you that as somebody who’s won Big Brother. I’m not bragging about it. Like, when I won Big Brother there was a lot of luck involved and it was no different than losing. It’s just when that one vote. When it comes down to it.”

Paul said, “It happened twice. That feeling of 4-4 twice in a row for sure aged me like fifteen years because that antsyness and that hype and that build up. Not ok for my health, but it was fun.”

Will asked, “Is there one little tiny thing that you could look back and wished that you had done differently?” Paul said,”Nope. I got myself to final two. I had to do what I had to do. If people were upset that they lost or were taken out. Sorry about it. I came back here to play a game and I played my heart out.”

Will said, “You really did. I can only commend you for that. I mean you put it all out on the line and you have nothing to be ashamed of. You should absolutely keep your chin up. And as we were watching, people were literally gasping because they couldn’t believe it.

So, I will tell you it was a shock in many ways to a lot of people. There’s a lot of former players that I respect that really thought you should’ve won it as well. So, you might not have won the grand prize, but you won the respect and that’s incredibly valuable.”

Paul said, “Thank you Dr Will. You are definitely a player that I respect. So, to hear that from you means a lot. I appreciate it.” Will said, “Now there’s some showmances this season. You were not in a showmance but I felt like one more day you and Christmas might have been in one.”

Paul said, “No, I love Christmas dearly. We were there for each other. You know it gets tough in the house. The companionship and she would just always be cold and she needed a cuddle buddy. So, I was like alright. We’ll be cuddle buddies.”

Will said, “Are you going to be a cuddle buddy tonight? America loves showmances and they want to know. Like, is there a Paul and Christmas thing?”

Paul said, “Look, I’m the showmance killer. The anti showmance. So, absolutely do not expect showmances from this guy. I love Christmas to the moon and back. She’s an incredible person and I respect her on multiple levels in the game and outside the house. She’s just and incredible human, and I can’t wait to have her in and around my life.”

Will said, “That’s really eloquent. Now, speaking of showmances. There was three this season. And we’re asking everybody. We think one statically can last forever. We think one is going to fizzle out pretty quickly. And we think one is going to result in a baby tonight. Tell me which is which is which.”

Paul said, “I’m giving everything a six months max just because I called the same thing last year. Look guys. It’s gumpy. You’re in here in a really tough environment. There’s a lot of things going on and you attach yourselves because you need comfort. It just needs to happen and it happens. It gets to the best of us.

But, these people. I know more so about them because I lived with them and knowing each one of them individually. I wish them the best of luck. I hope they last until the moon. I wish they have all the babies in the world and are the happiest people in the world. But realistically, knowing their characters and personalities. There’s just certain things that I think don’t work in real life. And sorry to be like the grinch of the showmances. I’m being realistic.”

Will said, “No, it’s a totally fair point. It’s pure speculation and you know let’s be honest. It’s nothing more than a shot in the dark. Love is difficult to find as is winning reality shows.”

Alright guys. That wrapped it up for Paul’s backyard interview with Dr. Will. He seemed to be ok as anyone can be for finishing second two straight years in a row. He thought he did all he could do and is fine with it. He was able to laugh about it. So, that’s good.
