‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Is Bringing Back A Familiar Face For Long Term Contract Role In October 2018

Happy Saturday, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We hope your weekend is going great. We’ve got a brand new, special report for you guys in regards to some new casting that the Bold And The Beautiful producers have been up to. It turns out that they’re looking to bring back a familiar female to the cast. It’s a contract role which means we’ll be seeing this person a lot more in the upcoming months.

With no further ado, the person that will be returning with a full contract role is Donna Logan played by actress Jennifer Gareis! That’s right guys. Be prepared to see a lot more of Donna Logan in future episodes!

According to the folks over at soapcentral.com, Jennifer Gareis recently hit up her official Twitter account to reveal the great news. She wrote, “I am excited to announce my return to contract status at #BoldandBeautiful. #Donna is BACK!”

It’s currently unclear when Donna will make her first onscreen appearance for her new contract role status. However, the folks at soapcentral say it’ll be around mid-October 2018. So, be sure to look out for her next month.

In the meantime, we will see Donna make another brief appearance on this Tuesday’s September 25, 2018 episode to attend her sister Katie and Thorne’s wedding. Yep, that’s right guys. As we previously reported, Thorne and Katie are really going to do a quickie wedding so they can look good in court for the Will custody battle. Oh, and I’m sure it’s because they really, really love each other too. Wink, Wink.

Anyways, getting back to the Donna Logan subject. For those of you who aren’t familiar with her, Donna was born way back in 1969. Actress Carrie Mitchum came on to play Donna in 1987 on a regular basis until 1991. From there, she made guest appearances until 2004. Then Jennifer Gareis started portraying Donna on a contract basis in 2006. Her contract status lasted until 2015. Since then, Donna has just been a recurring character, showing up for weddings and things like that.

When Donna was part of the main Bold And The Beautiful storylines, she was just as scandalous as all these other B&B women. She gave up her son for adoption when she was a teeneager. At one point, she posed nude for a European magazine. The pictures later made it into US publications via the crooked Dollar Bill Spencer.

There was one plotline where Donna published nude photos of crooked Dollar Bill Spencer as part of an extreme revenge plot for him posting nude photos of her. There was a period of time where Donna tried to get romantically involved with Thorne Forrester twice. Yep, it’s definitely a very small world in the Bold And The Beautiful land.

There was a time where Donna was quite the matchmaker. She hooked Katie up with some dude named Rocco at one point. She was also responsible for hooking Brooke up with Ridge. Donna was involved in a very crazy storyline that had her be a witness to a very serious crime. She saw Stephanie push Jackie off a balcony during a fight, and she later ratted Stephanie out to Nick.

Donna was involved in a situation where she lost Brooke’s kids by mistakenly leaving them alone when she should have been babysitting them. Donna was involved in another big revenge scandal gone bad when she tried to marry Thorne to get revenge on Stephanie. The plot went sour when Katie decided to rat Donna’s scandalous plan out to Thorne. Thorne stood Donna up at the alter.

After the Donna and Thorne thing ended, she moved on to hooking up with Eric Forrester for a while. Heck, they even got married. Donna was picked on a lot by Pam who used to be a lot more crazier than she is now. There was a big blackmail plot formulated by Pam at one time that involved her getting Donna to file for divorce from Eric.

According to Soaps.com, Donna has been a Spokesmodel for Forrester Creations. The Face of ‘Brooke’s Bedroom’ fashion line. A Publishing Intern for Bill Spencer. An unintentional prostitute at one time. She was a waitress at Griffey’s hamburger joint.

So yeah, Donna is definitely a character to be reckoned with. What does the Bold And The Beautiful producers have in store for her in this new, upcoming contract stint? That’s the big question that’s looming. Unfortunately, we have no idea at this time, but I’m sure more intel will turn up as we move closer to her contract role start date. Again, it’s reported to be in mid-October 2018 sometime.

Hopefully, the producers will make Donna’s new adventures very interesting. I’m really ready for them to get done with this Will custody battle storyline. I mean it does offer some pretty intense scenes. The problem is I just don’t care who gets custody of Will. We barely even saw Will before now. As far as I’m concerned, Katie can have Will. Bill can have Will. I’m just like,”Please, somebody hurry up and take Will so we can move onto another storyline.”

Alright, so how do you guys feel about Donna being brought back for a long-term contract role? Are you happy about it? Or you sad about it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the Facebook comments.

For the immediate future, CBS released a teaser description for this Monday’s September 24,2018 episode. It reads like this, “Unbeknownst to Brooke, Ridge pressures Judge McMullen to rule in favor of Katie. Realizing he must take matters into his own hands, Bill pays an unexpected visit to Katie.”
