New ‘This Is Us’ Season 3, March 26, 2019 Episode 17 Spoilers Revealed By NBC
Hey, “This Is Us” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 16. Now that it’s all aired and done, it’s time to take a brief look at what the next, new episode 17 will have in store. And when I say a “brief look,” I really mean brief because NBC was definitely stingy with their press release description for episode 17.
I guess since season 3 is winding down, they want keep more things a secret for the big finale episode 18. Anyways, with that said, NBC’s press release revealed that episode 17 is entitled, “R & B.” So, that was a really short and simple title.
It sounds like episode 17 will give you guys yet another big flashback session. This time, the flashbacks will be all about what took place in Beth and Randall’s past. That’s right, guys.” If you had any questions about Beth and Randall’s history, it will most likely get cleared up in this particular episode. NBC’s official and very short description reads like this, “A history of Beth and Randall through the ages.”
Yep, that’s really all NBC had to say for episode 17. It’s probably one of the shortest press releases we’ve seen from them this season for “This Is Us.” I suspect they definitely have something big to hide. Either that, or episode 17 will truly just be filled entirely with flashbacks of Beth and Randall’s past. We’ll just have to wait and see.
NBC’s very short press release did take the time to also confirm that episode 17 will indeed air next Tuesday night, March 26, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
Since season 3 is winding down, we thought we would talk about the prospect for a new season 4. We looked into it. There actually is no official announcement from NBC yet, but the folks over at TV Line definitely think it’s highly likely that “This Is Us” will get renewed for a new season 4.
Looking at “This Is Us” ratings numbers, things definitely look strong even though their numbers went down quite a bit. The season 3 premiere brought in 10.542 million viewers with a 2.97 rating score for the 18-49 year old demographic.
The most recent episode with statistics, which is episode 15, brought in 7.743 million viewers and a ratings score of 1.80. Again, those numbers aren’t bad at all. They’re just a step down from the performance that took place earlier in the season.
With that said, I can certainly see why the guys over at TV Line are very positive that NBC will renew “This is Us” for a brand new season 4, and I definitely think you guys should be too.
