NCIS Season 17 Spoiler: Ziva David Aka Cote de Pablo Is Returning For A Guest Spot

Hey, “NCIS” fans. We’ve got some pretty exciting news to share with you guys in this article. as most of you may recall, Cote de Pablo aka Ziva David made a brief appearance in the recent season 16 finale episode.

During her scene, she was seen telling Gibbs that he’s in major danger! She said, “Hello, Gibbs. No time for pleasantries. You’re in danger. Well, aren’t you gonna say something?”

Gibbs was completely in shock, and all he could say is, “Ziva” along with cracking a faint smile. As exciting as this was, we really didn’t know what this Ziva appearance meant for the future. Now, thanks to the folks over at TV Line, we have some sort of an idea.

It turns out that the beloved Ziva will definitely show up in the upcoming season 17 as a guest character. They said she’s going to do a guest spot in the season 17 premiere episode to continue the Ziva warning storyline.

The NCIS showrunners Frank Cardea and Steven D. Binder are the ones who revealed this spoiler to TV Line. They told them, “This surprise moment is just the beginning. We are thrilled to share that Cote de Pablo will guest star in the NCIS Season 17 premiere this fall as Ziva’s warning to Gibbs unfolds.”

Beyond the premiere episode, we don’t know if Ziva will show up at all. That’s something we’ll just have to wait around for, I guess. If she is going to do more episodes, it’s possible that information could get revealed this summer. We’ll keep an eye out.

In addition to revealing that Ziva will be back for the season 17 premiere episode, TV Line also pointed out that Ziva’s season 16 finale episode appearance was kept very top secret. It was so top secret that they didn’t even include it in the script or the call sheet. Showrunners Frank Cardea and Steven D. Binder were the only ones who had copies of that particular Ziva scene.

The scene was actually filmed with a skeleton crew at around midnight, which was way after the regular, full crew had wrapped things up for the day. They had Cote de Pablo escorted through a back gate entrance to film the scene with Mark Harmon aka Gibbs. So, they did everything they could to keep this thing super top secret.

As of right now, we’re still waiting for CBS to even reveal when the season 17 premiere episode will debut. We’re guessing it will air in late September like it always does. We’re also guessing that CBS will order up another full, 24 episode season given its continuous strong ratings and viewership numbers.

We expect the season 17 premiere date to be officially announced in late June 2019 sometime. That’s usually when CBS announces it. We will definitely let you guys know when they do.

Alright guys. So, how do you feel about seeing Cote de Pablo aka Ziva David again in the season 17 premiere episode this fall 2019? Are you happy about it? Are you sad about it? Or do you just not care one way or the other? Let us know in the comments section.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest NCIS report, but definitely stay tuned for more.

It would really be nice if Ziva David was given back her true character that her father so strongly emphasized – her training and consequential skills, as the “tip of the spear.” Unfortunately, the writers for NCIS seemed to do everything possible to destroy her true character, in her last few seasons with NCIS.

Just maybe, the character of Ziva David is being re-introduced, in order too; introduce her character, in a new show about Ziva David. It would be about time!

Remember the character of Gibbs was introduced through “JAG;” before NCIS went into its first season. So, I would suggest this plot thread is plausible. To me and I am sure others – it really would be about time!
