New ‘Riverdale’ Spoilers For Season 4, October 23, 2019 Episode 3 Revealed
Hey, Riverdale fans. We hope you guys had a blast watching tonight’s episode 2 of this current 4th season. We are back with a brand new spoiler session article for you guys. In this article, we’ll be letting you guys know what’s about to go down in the next, new episode 3, which is scheduled to air next week.
Thanks to The CW, we’ve got a couple of teaser descriptions for episode 3 via their press release. So, let’s get into it.
For starters, the producers decided to name episode 3, “Chapter Sixty: Dog Day Afternoon.” It sounds like episode 3 will feature some very intense, dramatic,interesting, dangerous and possible action-filled scenes as Betty and Charles confront Edgar Evernever!
Archie and Veronica throw a fundraiser event. Jughead runs into some unexpected moments. Cheryl finds out about another dark family secret and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Betty, Charles and Edgar situation. It turns out that we’re going to see Betty and Charles hit up a little road trip to track down Edgar Evernever’s new location. Once Betty and Charles find Edgar, they will confront him, and things will get very dangerous!
CW’s official description tells us, “Things take a dangerous turn when Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Charles (guest star Wyatt Nash) track down Edgar (guest star Chad Michael Murray) and his Farmies.” An alternate description reads like this, “BETTY AND CHARLES CONFRONT EDGAR EVERNEVER.”
What dangerous events will take place during Betty and Charles’ visit? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. The only other thing we’re hearing about Betty is that her past is going to come back to haunt her in episode 4.
What that does tell us is that Betty will make it out of the Edgar situation in episode 3 for the time being.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Veronica and Archie will be busy trying to do some good in this episode. At some point, they will throw a big car wash fundraiser at Pop’s diner in an effort to raise money for a community center.
CW’s description tells us, “Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) hold a car wash fundraiser at Pop’s to raise money for the community center.”
Will Veronica and Archie’s charitable efforts pay off for them? That’s a major question for this particular plotline. We’re not sure, but we know Veronica is going to run into some major trouble in episode 4. So, look out for that.
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Jughead definitely won’t have the experience he thought he would in this episode. Apparently, he’s going to make his first day appearance at Stonewall Prep. When he gets there, things will not work out quite the way he thought.
CW’s description tells us, “Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) first day at Stonewall Prep doesn’t go as planned.”
How will Jughead get thrown off? That’s the big question for this particular storyline. We’ll have to wait and see, but we do know that Jughead will eventually find out about some mysterious disappearances that occurred at the Stonewall Prep school in episode 4. So, get ready to see that happen in the near future.
Lastly, we’ve got a 4th teaser description, and it’s all about our favorite character Cheryl Blossom. She’s definitely going to have a big, big scene in this episode. She’s going to learn about another dark, family secret from Nana Rose!
CW’s description for this Cheryl scenario reads like this, “Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) learns a dark family secret from Nana Rose.”
What will this new, dark secret turn out to be? That’s the huge question for this particular storyline. We couldn’t track down the answer to that question, but we do know Cheryl and Toni will get majorly spooked out of their minds by a haunting situation in episode 4. So, definitely get prepped for that crazy event.
Episode 3 will also feature Madchen Amick as character Alice Cooper, Mark Consuelos as character Hiram Lodge, Skeet Ulrich as character FP Jones, Casey Cott as character Kevin Cooper, Charles Melton as character Reggie Mantle and Vanessa Morgan as character Toni Topaz.
The CW also released a couple of preview photos for episode 3. Archie, Kevin and some of the others are featured in two of the photos. They look quite serious in this scene. Betty is featured in the other pic. She’s on a phone call, and she looks dead serious.

Episode 3 was directed by Greg Smith, and it was written by Ace Hasan and Greg Murray. The CW’s press release confirmed that episode 3 is indeed scheduled to air next Wednesday night,October 23, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
