Blue Bloods Season 12, December 17, 2021 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Blue Bloods” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some bad news for you guys. It turns out that Blue Bloods is currently on a pretty long delay right now. So, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 10 of Blue Blood’s current season 12 tonight, December 17, 2021.

Apparently, Blue Bloods is getting delayed for a whopping 3 weeks. CBS let us know that they do plan to air the new episode 10 on Friday night, January 7, 2022 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that extremely important date and time.

So, just what in the heck is CBS going to air instead of the next, new episode 10 of Blue Blood’s current season 12 during this 3-week delay? Well, we did find out what they’re airing for the next 2 weeks. It turns out that CBS has a couple of Blue Bloods, repeat episodes lined up for you guys. Tonight, they will be re-airing the 7th episode of last season 11 titled, “In Too Deep.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “After Danny witnesses a drive-by shooting, he butts heads with the detective assigned to the case. Also, a childhood friend of Jamie’s is convinced that she has single-handedly solved a cold case murder, and Frank struggles to trust an ex-detective when he brings forth information about a suspected crime ring.”

Next Friday night, December 24, CBS will re-air the 2nd episode of last season 11 titled, “In the Name of the Father.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Danny and Jamie combine forces to convict a notorious drug lord, as Erin nervously awaits the Governor’s selection for the new District Attorney. Also, Frank and his grandson, Joe Hill (Will Hochman), face a difficult decision as they navigate their new and complicated family ties.”

You guys will have to check your local listings to see what CBS has in store for Friday night, December 31, 2021 if you even care.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to round up some new, official teaser scoops for the next, new episode 10 of Blue Blood’s current season 12 via CBS’ official episode 10 press release. So, we’re going to take a look at that right now.

First off, CBS let us know that this new episode 10 is officially titled, “Old Friends.” It sounds like episode 10 will feature some very scandalous, intense, action-filled, dramatic, interesting, emotional and possible suspenseful scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 10 reads like this, “An illegal drug shipment arriving in New York City forces Danny to partner up with his Texas Ranger associate, Major Waylon Gates (Lyle Lovett), to find the narcotics before they flood the streets.

Also, Jamie makes a concerning discovery about a former mentor as he helps a neighbor handle a gambling debt, and Frank receives pushback from Mayor Chase over his handling of a brawl between demonstrators and police officers at a protest on the CBS Original series BLUE BLOODS.”

Episode 10 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: James McCaffrey as character (Sergeant Kevin Coolidge), Brad Fraizer as character (Terry Howard), DeLance Minefree as character (Jason Reeves), Joseph Raymond Lucero as character (Juan Carlos Lopez).

Guest stars continued: Josh Crotty as character (Officer Christopher Zeal), Oliva Biederman as character (Tracy), Matt Consalvo as character (Officer Meyers), Mateo D’Amato as character (Rudy), Jamal James as character (Officer Paul Salter) and Kyle Moore as character (Captain).

Episode 10 will feature a couple of recurring stars. They are: Abigail Hawk as character (Abigail Baker), Gregory Jbara as character (DCPI Garrett Moore), Robert Clohessy as character (Lt. Gormley), Steven Schirripa as character (Anthony Abetamarco), Andrew Terraciano as character (Sean Reagan), Lyle Lovett as character (Texas Ranger Major Waylon Gates) and Dylan Walsh as character (Mayor Chase).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 10 are: Tom Selleck as character (Frank Reagan), Donnie Wahlberg as character (Danny Reagan), Bridget Moynahan as character (Erin Reagan), Will Estes as character (Jamie Reagan), Len Cariou as character (Henry Reagan), Marisa Ramirez as character (Det. Maria Baez) and Vanessa Ray as character (Officer Eddie Janko).

Episode 12 was written by Ian Biederman, and it was directed by Jackeline Tejada.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of Blue Bloods’ current season 12 is scheduled to finally hit the air on Friday night, January 7, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
