The Rookie Season 5 March 7, 2023 Episode 18 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “The Rookie” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times where we have to tell you something you’re not going to like. Yeah, it turns out that your favorite show The Rookie is in the midst of being delayed for two weeks, which means ABC is not going to air the next, new episode 18 of The Rookie’s current season 5 tonight, March 7, 2023. Yep, you guys will have to wait just a wee bit longer to see it.
According to ABC’s official episode 18 press release, ABC plans to finally air the new episode 18 on Tuesday night, March 21, 2023 in its usual,7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to not forget that extremely important date and time.
We did track down what ABC is airing in place of The Rookie during this two-week delay period. According to the TV guide listings, ABC has a repeat episode of The Rookie lined up and ready to go tonight. It will be the 13th episode of this season 5 titled,”Daddy Cop.”
ABC’s official description for this repeat episode 13 of The Rookie season 5 reads like this, “In the midst of a heatwave and a citywide blackout, Nolan and Aaron follow increasingly large leads after they discover criminals hiding at the station. Chen makes an alarming discovery after being called to a scene with a pungent smell.”
Next Thursday night, March 14, 2023, ABC is going to serve up the new episode 9 of The Bachelor’s current season 27 titled,”The Women Tell All.” ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “An eligible bachelor dates multiple women over several weeks in hopes of finding true love.”
If any of you guys find this alternate schedule to be enticing at all, you might still want to stick it out with ABC during this two-week delay period. If you only want to see brand new episodes of The Rookie, you will certainly want to get some other plans in the works until March 21, 2023 gets here.
Spoiler Warning: We did track down a few spoiler materials for the next, new episode 18 of The Rookie’s current season 5. ABC revealed an official title for it ,and they released a new preview clip. The official title for this new episode 18 is called, “Double Trouble.”
