Magnum PI Season 5 April 9, 2023 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some really bad news for you guys in this report because the NBC people are not airing a new episode of Magnum PI tonight, April 9, 2023. That’s right, guys. For some unknown reason, NBC has decided to hold off on airing the next, new episode 9 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 tonight. So, you’re going to have to wait a little while longer to see it.
The good news is that it won’t be that much longer. NBC’s official episode 9 press release has let us know that NBC plans to finally air the new episode 9 as early as next Sunday night, April 16, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly look for the new episode 9 to finally turn up next week.
In the meantime, we did track down what NBC is serving up instead of a new Magnum PI episode tonight. According to the TV guide listings, NBC is going to dish up a repeat episode of Magnum PI. They’re re-airing the 2nd episode of this season 5 titled, “The Breaking Point.”
NBC’s official description for this repeat episode 2 of Magnum PI season 5 reads like this, “Magnum and Higgins go under cover as lifeguards to solve a murder. Jin Jeong wins a storage unit auction and enlists the help of Rick and TC upon finding a stolen military medal.”
If any of you guys missed this particular repeat episode of Magnum PI the first time it aired, or if you just wouldn’t mind watching it again, you might still want to hit up NBC tonight to catch it. If you have seen this repeat episode and have no desire whatsoever to see it again, you will definitely want to get some other plans lined up for tonight as soon as you can.
Spoiler Warning: We did round up some new, official teaser scoops for the next, new episode 9 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 via NBC’s official episode 9 press release. It revealed that this new episode 9 is officially titled, “OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND.”
NBC’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “Magnum and Higgins take on a case that sends Higgins inside a psychiatric hospital. Katsumoto and his son, Dennis, head to the mainland to look at colleges, but their trip takes a harrowing turn when a run-in with a local turns ugly.”
Again, NBC let us know that the next, new episode 9 of Magnum PI’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air next Sunday night, April 16, 2023 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot.
