In tonight’s new episode, you’re going to see an actor, a comedian/actress and a musical performance. The first description for tonight’s new, April 20, 2023 episode reveals that 42 year old American actor Jake Gyllenhaal is going to show up to speak with Jimmy tonight.
Jake has been seen in many productions like: Ambulance movie, Marvel’s Spiderman: Far From Home movie, Everest, Southpaw movie, Nightcrawler, Source Code, Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time movie, Brokeback Mountain movie and more.
According to our ABC press release notes, Jake will be promoting his latest acting gig, which is an action/war movie titled, “Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant.” In it, Jake portrays character John Kinley. A brief description of it reads like this,”During the war in Afghanistan, a local interpreter risks his own life to carry an injured sergeant across miles of grueling terrain.” It’s scheduled to hit theaters tomorrow, April 21, 2023.
The second description reveals that American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, director, producer and podcaster Whitney Cummings is going to show up to mix it up with Jimmy at some point. Whitney has been seen in productions like : 2 Broke Girls tv show, her own show titled, Whitney, Accused tv show, Whitney Cummings: Jokes, Studio 666 movie, The Female Brain and more.
According to ABC’s press release, Whitney will be promoting her new comedy roasting series titled, “Whitney Cummings Presents: The OnlyFans Roast of Whitney Cumming.” It features uninhibited comedy bits about current events and whatever else is on her mind with her OnlyFans subscribers. It’s material that might be warped out of context on other platforms. The subscription will cost around $10 a month.
The 3rd and last description for tonight’s new, April 20, 2023 episode lets us know that you guys are going to get a new musical performance from American indie rock supergroup, “Boygenius.” The group consists of: Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus.
They just released their very first studio album titled, “The Record” back on March 31, 2023 with the Interscope record label, and it has peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. So, expect to hear some songs get performed from that album tonight.
