48 hours July 1, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back on here to let you know that CBS is going to serve up an episode of 48 Hours tonight, July 1, 2023. However, it will not be a new episode. Nope, instead, CBS is going to drop a repeat episode of 48 Hours on you guys. For some of you who may not have seen this repeat episode, it might be like watching a new episode.
Whatever the case, we do have some preview information for this repeat episode to run by you guys. CBS served up a new press release for tonight’s July 1, 2023 repeat episode. So, we’re going to certainly pull it up for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
For starters, the official title for tonight’s July 1, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours is called, “The Suzanne Morphew Case: Nothing Is What It Seems.” It originally aired way, way back on January 22, 2022.
In this repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at a story about a Colorado mother of two named Suzanne Morphew. She vanished all of a sudden on Mother’s Day of 2020. The sheriff’s deputies were told that her mountain bike was missing, and they wondered if she might have been kidnapped or got involved in some sort of an accident.
They also took into consideration that her husband Barry Morphew might have something to do with her disappearance after they found some strange clues like: a chipmunk alibi, a tranquilizer gun, a spy pen and an affair. They eventually brought a case against Barry Morphew.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s July 1, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “When a Colorado mother of two vanished on Mother’s Day 2020, sheriff’s deputies were told her mountain bike was missing. For a time, deputies wondered if she’d been kidnapped or had an accident, but her husband also was considered a suspect.
Then, bizarre clues emerged – a chipmunk alibi, a tranquilizer gun, a spy pen and an affair. Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS report on the disappearance of Suzanne Morphew, the case that was brought against her husband, Barry Morphew, and the incredible twists the story takes in an encore of “The Suzanne Morphew Case: Nothing Is What It Seems.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours will be a repeat episode tonight, July 1, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
