However, we must warn you that it will be a repeat episode again. Yes, the repeat episodes of 48 Hours will indeed continue tonight, but some of you might not have seen this repeat episode. So, we’re going to run a preview of it by you in this article.
The CBS people put out a new, official press release for tonight’s July 22, 2023 repeat episode. So, that’s what we’ll be taking a look at for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
The first thing CBS let us know about tonight’s July 22, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours is that it’s officially titled, “Searching for Maya Millete.” It originally aired way, way back on February 19, 2022.
In tonight’s July 22, 2023 repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look into a story about a woman named Maya Millete. She was a Southern California mother and wife who turned up missing all of a sudden from her home back in January 2021. Her husband Larry Millete immediately became the prime suspect for the investigators that worked this case. He made up stories about why Maya was missing. One of the stories was that she went hiking.
The investigators found out that Larry and Maya were having all sorts of marital problems. They also found out that Larry went as far as to contact spellcasters to put a hex on Maya to try and stop her from leaving him! In October 2021, Larry was finally charged with the murder of Maya. He has pleaded not guilty, and his trial is scheduled to start later this year.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s July 22, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “Maya Millete disappeared from her Southern California home in January 2021. Suspicion soon fell on her husband, Larry Millete. He told her family various stories about why his wife was gone, including that she went hiking.
From the outside, the Milletes looked like a wonderful family. However, investigators said they learned that the couple was going through marital problems. Investigators also say Larry Millete had been contacting spellcasters to have a hex put on his wife so she wouldn’t leave him. In October 2021, Larry Millete was charged with his wife’s murder. He has pleaded not guilty. His trial is scheduled to start later this year.
