60 Minutes July 23, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back at you on another brand new Sunday to inform you that the folks over at CBS will have another episode of 60 Minutes queued up and ready to go for you tonight, July 23, 2023. However, please be aware that this episode will once again be a repeat episode that consists of segments that were previously aired.
The CBS folks did put out a new, official press release for tonight’s July 23, 2023 repeat episode. So, we’re going to take a look at it to give you a preview session for it. Let’s get into it.
The first description for tonight’s July 23, 2023 episode of 60 Minutes reveals that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “LITIGATION FUNDING.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Lesley Stahl reports on litigation funding, a relatively new multi-billion-dollar industry where investors fund lawsuits in exchange for a slice of the award.
It can be lucrative and help level the playing field against big corporations with deep pockets, but it’s growing rapidly with few rules and little oversight.”
The second description reveals that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “THE HISTORYMAKERS.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The achievements of historically significant Black Americans are at risk of going unpreserved as important figures die without documenting their stories for future generations.
Bill Whitaker explores how one organization is trying to prevent that by creating an expansive digital archive of first-person accounts of the Black experience.”
The 3rd and final description for tonight’s July 23, 2023 repeat episode lets us know that CBS is going to re-air a segment titled, “THE UNLIKELY ADVENTURES OF DAVID GRANN.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “60 MINUTES meets bestselling author and darling of Hollywood developers David Grann upon the release of his new book, The Wager, the true story of an 18th-century open-water adventure that becomes a saga of shipwreck, anarchy, betrayal and murder.
Jon Wertheim gets an inside look at Grann’s process – from his meticulous research at The National Archives in Britain to his unlikely journey to the scene of the crime on a small island off the coast of Chile.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed those particular segments of 60 minutes when they originally aired, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check them out. If you did see those segments when they originally aired and have absolutely no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to get something else lined up for tonight as soon as you can.
CBS’ press release confirmed that 60 Minutes will be a repeat episode tonight, July 23, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 6 pm central standard time.
