Saturday Night LIVE August 19, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “Saturday Night LIVE” fans. We’re back on her to let you know that the folks over at NBC will once again give you guys another repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE tonight, August 19, 2023. As we previously reported, NBC has been forced to air repeat episodes of Saturday Night LIVE ever since May 2, 2023 due to the ongoing WGA writers strike.
The strike is still going strong three and a half months later. The most recent news is letting us know that the WGA writers union and the studios are currently back to actively negotiation a new deal, which is really good news because the negotiations had stopped for a pretty good while.
If the WGA writers union and the studios can reach an agreement during this latest round of negotiations, we might finally see an end to this strike in sight. We’re definitely crossing our fingers for that.
In the meantime, we did get a hold of the repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE that NBC is going to serve up tonight. They’re going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on April 1, 2023. It featured 33 year old American writer, producer, actress, and comedian Quinta Brunson showing up to take over the hosting duties. This episode also featured some musical performances from 25 year old American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor Lil Yachty.
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of Saturday Night LIVE when it originally hit the air, you might still want to hit up NBC tonight to check it out. If you did see this repeat episode when it originally aired, and you have no desire whatsoever to watch it again, you will certainly want to get something else lined up for tonight during that time.
Again, it’s been confirmed that Saturday Night LIVE will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 19, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV sets, starting at approximately 10:29 pm central standard time.
