48 hours August 19, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in your faces to let you know that CBS is going to give you guys another episode of 48 Hours tonight. However, it will be a repeat episode again since they’re currently in the offseason. Since some of you guys might not have seen this particular repeat episode, we do have some preview information for it.
CBS put out a new, official press release for tonight’s August 19, 2023 repeat episode. So, we’re going to certainly dig into it to bring you this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. There is an official title for tonight’s August 19, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours. It’s called, “What Angelina Saw.” It originally aired back on March 11, 2023.
In tonight’s August 19 repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at a story about a woman named Angelina Fernandes. When she was just 11 years old, she woke up and saw her neighbors trying to save the life of her mother’s fiance Andrew Wagner, but they were unsuccessful as he died from a knife wound to the neck.
Angelina’s mother Stephanie was charged with Andrew Wagner’s murder. 48 Hours correspondent Peter Van Sant interviewed both Angelina and Stephanie. Stephanie claimed self defense for killing Andrew, and they say it was a very complicated and volatile relationship.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s August 19, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “Angelina Fernandes will never forget the chaotic scene at her home on the night of May 7, 2014, when she was just 11 years old. She woke up and saw neighbors trying to save the life of Andrew Wagner, the fiancé of her mother, Stephanie.
Wagner later died from a knife wound to his neck. Angelina’s mother was charged with murder. Both women talk with 48 HOURS correspondent Peter Van Sant and describe what they say was Stephanie Fernandes’ complicated and volatile relationship with Wagner in an encore of “What Angelina Saw.”
An alternate description tells us, “Á woman claims self-defense in the stabbing death of her fiancé. Her daughter who witnessed the crime scene at 11 years old tells her story.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed that particular repeat episode of 48 Hours when it originally aired, you might still want to tune into CBS tonight to check that one out. If you did already see this repeat episode, and you have no desire to watch it again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans tonight.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 19, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
