New 48 hours September 30, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back to inform you guys that CBS will get back to serving up new episodes of 48 Hours tonight, September 30, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 3rd installment of 48 Hour’s current season 37, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
The folks over CBS did put out an official press release for tonight’s new, September 30, 2023 episode 3. So, we’re going to definitely see what it has to say in this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First off, we’ve got an official title for tonight’s new, September 30, 2023 episode 3 of 48 Hours season 37. It’s called, “The Game Show and the Murder.”
In tonight’s new, September 30, 2023 episode 3, the 48 Hours team will take a deep look at a story about a man named Tim Bliefnick. He was a former contestant on the game show Family Feud. However, now, he’s a convicted felon for the murder of his estranged wife Becky Bliefnick. This murder took place back in February 2023.
48 Hours correspondent Erin Moriarty handled the reporting duties for this case an episode. In this episode, she does an interview with Tim Bliefnick after a jury found him guilty of the murder. During the murder, Becky Bliefnick was found shot to death multiple times in her home. During the interview, Tim claims he’s innocent of the murder stating, “No, I did not murder Becky. The idea of, of murdering someone, let alone the mother of my kids … is not any part of who I am.”
Prosecutors Josh Jones and Laura Keck said, “The detectives followed the evidence exactly where it took them, and there was one inescapable conclusion, that it was Mr. Bliefnick.”
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new, September 30, 2023 episode 3 of 48 Hours season 37 reads like this, “Tim Bliefnick, a former contestant on the game show “Family Feud,” was arrested, charged and convicted for the February 2023 murder of his estranged wife, Becky Bliefnick. Becky Bliefnick was found dead in her Quincy, Ill., home. She was shot multiple times.
The case generated media attention when it was revealed that nearly two years before the couple separated, Tim Bliefnick appeared on “Family Feud. Now, in his first TV interview after a jury found him guilty, Bliefnick talks with 48 HOURS correspondent Erin Moriarty for 48 HOURS: “The Game Show and the Murder.” An alternate description tells us,”A “Family Feud” contestant convicted of murdering his estranged wife speaks out for the first time.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of 48 Hour’s current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, September 30, 2023, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
