Hey,”Jimmy Kimmel LIVE” fans. We’re back on here to unfortunately let you know that ABC is being forced to serve up yet another week of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE repeat episodes this week, August 21-25, 2023, due to the ongoing WGA writers strike situation.
The current status of the writers strike is telling us that the WGA writers union and studios have been actively negotiating, and they’re scheduled to have another meeting next week to try to finally hash out a deal. So, keep your fingers crossed on that.
In the meantime, ABC put out an official press release, revealing which repeat episodes of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE that they will dish out this week. So, we’re going to reveal those to you right now. Let’s get to it.
Tonight, August 21, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally back on April 7, 2023. It featured appearances from: actor Jeremy Renner promoting “Rennervations.” Rock band Metallica promoting “Metallica: 72 Seasons.” Musical Guest Metallica.
On Tuesday night, August 22, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on March 14, 2023. It featured appearances from Lin-Manuel Miranda promoting “tick, tick… BOOM!” Actor Brian Cox promoting “Succession” TV show. Musical Guest Sebastián Yatra.
On Wednesday night, August 23, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 28, 2023. It featured appearances from: actress Courteney Cox promoting “Scream VI.” Ike Barinholtz promoting “The History of the World Part II.”
On Thursday night, August 24, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 8, 2023. It featured appearances from: actor Channing Tatum promoting “Dog.” David Oyelowo promoting “The Girl Before.”
On Friday night, August 25, 2023, ABC is going to re-air the episode that originally aired back on February 23, 2023. It featured appearances from: actor Tyler Perry promoting “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Homecoming.” Usher and Musical Guest Ari Lennox.
If any of you guys missed those particular repeat episodes of Jimmy Kimmel LIVE when they originally aired, you might still want to flip on ABC during the late nights this week to check them out. If you did see these repeat episodes already, and you have no desire to watch them again, you will certainly want to get something else lined up this week.
ABC’s press release confirmed that Jimmy Kimmel LIVE will be repeat episodes again all this week, August 21-25, 2023, and they’re all scheduled to show up on your TV screens, starting at approximately 10:35 pm central standard time.
