48 hours August 26, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We’re back in action to let you know that the folks over at CBS do have another episode of 48 Hours all queued up and ready to air for you tonight, August 26, 2023. Please note that this episode will not be a new episode because it’s still the offseason. Some of you guys might not have seen this repeat episode when it originally aired. So, we do have some new preview information for it.
CBS served up a new, official press release for tonight’s August 26, 2023 repeat episode. So, we’re going to pull it up ,right now, for this preview session. Let’s get to it.
First thing’s first. CBS let us know that tonight’s August 26, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours is officially labeled/titled, “48 HOURS: Last Seen in Breckenridge.”It originally aired way back on November 19, 2022.
In tonight’s August 26, 2023 repeat episode, the 48 Hours team took a deep look at a story about two women: 21 year old Annette Schnee and 29 year old Bobbie Jo Oberholtzer. These two women were murdered near a resort ski town over in Breckenridge, Colorado way back in 1982.
The detectives that worked the case were able to link the two of them together via an orange sock that was found near Oberholtzer’s crime scene and a matching sock on Schnee. From there, the case went cold until they were able to run some DNA records that were recovered from evidence through a public genealogy database and got a match. Eventually, the investigators found out that the killer had been rescued by a local fire chief from a snow-covered mountain pass right after he dumped Annette and Bobbie’s dead bodies!
American journalist Natalie Morales handled the reporting duties for this case and episode. CBS’ official description for tonight’s August 26, 2023 repeat episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “The investigation into the 1982 murders of two young women near the resort town of Breckenridge, Colo.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed this repeat episode of 48 Hours when it originally aired, you might still want to hit up CBS tonight to check it out. If you did already see this repeat episode, and you have no desire to watch it again, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight.
Again, CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours will be a repeat episode again tonight, August 26, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
