60 Minutes September 10, 2023 Episode Not New. It’s A Repeat. Preview Revealed

Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. We’re back on to let you know that the folks over at CBS will be chiming in with another 60 Minutes episode tonight, September 10, 2023. This one will be another repeat episode since 60 Minutes is still in their offseason. However, we just got word that 60 Minutes’ new season 56 is starting next Sunday night, September 17, 2023. So, certainly make note of that.

In the meantime, we do have some preview information for tonight’s September 10, 2023 repeat episode in case some of you guys didn’t see this one when it originally aired. We were able to get a hold of a new, official press release for tonight’s repeat episode straight from CBS. So, we will dig into it for this preview session. Let’s get to it.

For starters, there is an official title for tonight’s September 10, 2023 repeat episode of 60 Minutes. It’s called, “9.11 The FDNY.” It originally aired way, way back on September 12,2021.

In tonight’s September 10, 2023 repeat episode, the 60 Minutes team did some interviews with firefighters who were at Ground Zero during the 9-11-2001 terrorist attacks in New York. American journalist Scott Pelley handled the reporting duties for this episode. He spoke with former Fire Department Of New York Commissioner Dan Nigro who stated, “It’s a day that will never leave you.” This episode dedicates the full hour to reliving the horrific tragedy of that day.

CBS’ official description for tonight’s September 10, 2023 repeat episode of 60 Minutes reads like this,”While the nation remembers the terrorist attacks that killed thousands of Americans more than 20 years ago, New York City firefighters who survived after being sent to rescue victims at the World Trade Center will relive a life-changing experience that’s now a part of who they are.

“It’s a day that will never leave you,” former Fire Department of New York Commissioner Dan Nigro tells Scott Pelley. Nigro and other firefighters who were at Ground Zero, many of whom fill the top ranks of the FDNY, recall the men, their sacrifices and the tragedy of losing 343 of their colleagues. This segment runs the full hour. Maria Gavrilovic is the producer.”

If any of you guys happened to have missed this repeat episode of 60 Minutes when it originally aired, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check it out. If you did already see this repeat episode, and you have no desire whatsoever of watching it again, you will certainly want to skip this episode and check back next week when the new season finally begins.

Again, CBS confirmed that 60 Minutes will be a repeat episode again tonight, September 10, 2023, and it’s scheduled to hit your TV screens, starting at approximately 6:30 pm central standard time.
