New 48 hours September 23, 2023 Episodes Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here to deliver some bad news. It turns out that the CBS folks are not going to air the next, new episodes 3 and 4 of 48 Hours new season 37 tonight, September 23, 2023. That’s right, guys. You’re going to have to wait just a little while longer to see those new episodes.
According to the TV guide listings, CBS is currently scheduled to air the new episodes 3 and 4 of 48 Hours current season 37 next Saturday night, September 30, 2023 in their usual, 8pm to 10pm central standard time slots. So, definitely be on the look out for those new episodes to hit your TV sets next Saturday night.
With all that said, we did find out why CBS is not airing the new 48 Hours episodes tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is going to provide LIVE coverage of a college football game featuring the Iowa Hawkeyes vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of this college football game reads like this, “College Football. Iowa at Penn State LIVE. The No. 24 Hawkeyes and No. 7 Nittany Lions meet in Big Ten play. Penn State has outscored opponents 131-35 during a 3-0 start. Iowa fans stormed the field when the Hawkeyes dumped the Lions 23-20 in a meeting of two top-five ranked squads in 2021.”
Yes, CBS is going to devote their entire Saturday night, primetime hours to the coverage of this game tonight. Those hours will be 6:30pm to 10pm central standard time.
If any of you guys happen to be also be college football fans, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to catch this game. If you are not a college football fan and have absolutely no desire to watch this college football game, you will certainly want to make some alternate plans for tonight as soon as you can.
Again, TV guide confirmed that CBS is not airing 48 Hours tonight, September 23, 2023. However, they are currently scheduled to air two brand new episodes of 48 Hours next Saturday night, September 30, 2023 in their usual, 8pm to 10pm central standard time slots.
