New 48 hours October 7, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “48 Hours” fans. We are back in action to let you guys know that the CBS folks are going to drop another new episode of 48 Hours on you guys tonight, October 7, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 4th one for 48 hours’ current season 37, and we’ve got some new preview information for it.
CBS was so very kind enough to give us an official press release for tonight’s new, October 7, 2023 episode 4. So. we are going to certainly reference it to deliver this preview session. Let’s get into it.
First thing’s first. CBS let us know that tonight’s new, October 7, 2023 episode 4 of 48 Hours season 37 does have an official title. It’s called, “Who Wanted Nicki Lenway Dead?”
In tonight’s new, October 7, 2023 episode 4, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a woman named Nicole “Nicki” Lenway. She’s a crime scene investigator for the Minneapolis Police Department. She experienced the horrible tragedy of being shot multiple times in broad daylight and left for dead in a parking lot.
There were some surveillance cameras that captured the whole shooting. However, the shooter was still hard to identify. In this episode, Nicole Lenway is going to give an exclusive interview with 48 Hours’ correspondent Erin Moriarty and talk about the shooting and how she survived it.
During the interview, Nicole told Erin, “I’m halfway in between my vehicle and the door. And this person comes running up from behind me. Shots were being fired. I fell to the ground, and the shooter stands over me and continues to try to shoot. I felt my neck and then could see the blood.”
Emilie Clancy was driving by and stopped to help. Emily said, “I just looked her in the eyes, and I said, ‘Nicki, we’ve got this. We’ve got this. Just stay with me.’” Nicole went on to say, “Someone wanted me dead. I knew that this could happen, but I didn’t want to believe it would.”
The investigators that worked the case found out that Nicole’s ex-boyfriend and father of her child had what appeared to be an air-tight alibi. However, they started to believe he was involved somehow. The investigation then turned to a suspect no one imagined.
CBS’ official description for tonight’s new, October 7, 2023 episode 4 of 48 hours season 37 reads like this, “Nicole “Nicki” Lenway, a crime scene investigator for the Minneapolis Police Department, was gunned down in broad daylight and left for dead in a parking lot and the shooting was captured on camera. In her first television interview, Lenway talks exclusively with 48 HOURS correspondent Erin Moriarty in “Who Wanted Nicki Dead?”
An alternate description tells us, “A CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATOR GUNNED DOWN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT SHARES HER STORY OF SURVIVAL, EXCLUSIVELY ON “48 HOURS: WHO WANTED NICKI LENWAY DEAD?”
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 4 of 48 Hours’ current season 37 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens tonight, October 7, 2023, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
