‘Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time’ Movie Delivered Great Action & Suspense
‘Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time’ movie delivered great action & suspense. Walt Disney Pictures released their new flick “Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” into theaters today, and it really delivered in the action and suspense department. Jake Gyllenhaal did a great job as character Dastan, the Prince of Persia. The movie stars: Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina, and Toby Kebbell.
“Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time” revolved around character Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) who became one of the princes of Persia after the king found him in the slums, and decided to raise him as his own. From Dastan’s childhood, it flash-forwards to the future when he’s all grown up. After being a loyal prince for many years, a conspiracy against him involving the death of the king and his evil, deceptive uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley), caused him to eventually team up with princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton),or be killed by the Persians.
Later on, Dastan discovers that a mysterious dagger he picked up earlier in the film, would soon become the key to his future. It allowed the holder to travel through time if it possessed the magical sands from the gods. Tamina was the protector of the dagger, and went back and forth trying to get it from a resistant Dastan, while Dastan tried not to get killed by tons of Persians who were hunting him. After much arguing back and forth, Dastan and Tamina came to an understanding, and even got romantic. The movie contained a lot intense action, including lots of fighting, mystical powers and snakes being used, and prince Dastan doing a ton of acrobatic flips, climbing, and kicking.
It all led to a very dramatic ending, which included Dastan using the mystical sands of time to basically undo the whole movie. It was quite a head ride, but very entertaining. I really enjoyed the movie. It started out kinda slow in the beginning, but after the first 15-20 minutes, things really picked up and never stopped. The ending is very dramatic, and takes you on a whirlwind. Jake and Gemma had some great onscreen chemistry. It was funny to see them argue back and forth in the beginning, and that Gemma is really cute. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for more movie news and reviews Clicking Here.
