Review:Scream 4 Movie Delivered Laughs,Horror & A Shocking Twist
Scream 4 Movie Delivered Laughs,Horror & a Shocking Twist. Dimension Films released their new horror flick “Scream 4” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was great. It featured good comedy,just enough gore,and an absolutely amazing twist that I just ,quite frankly, never saw coming.
The movie stars: Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Alison Brie, Mary McDonnell, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, and Brittany Roberts.
The movie revolved around,of course, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). She returned to her hometown of Woodsboro to do a book signing as she’s now a famous author. She catches up with old friends Gale Weathers-Riley (Courtney Cox) and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) who she lives with. Everything seems so pleasant and nice at first.
However, horror fans,we all know that doesn’t last long. All of a sudden, there’s a double murder that happens on the day of Sydney’s book signing and the culprit has planted the phone they were using in the trunk of Sydney’s car. Everyone starts to panic,and the now “Chief of Police” officer Dewey and is back on he case to find the Ghost Face killer.
Also, Gail decides to get back into the reporting game to help out against Dewey’s wishes. Unfortunately, a lot of deaths occur before they’re able to discover who the killer is,or before the killer shows their face. Some of the death scenes included a hot chick getting stabbed to death in her bedroom while her friends watched in terror, another girl getting a surprise stabbing from someone she liked,two other guys getting stabbed in the back and head. There was a lot of stabbing going on.
There killing was expected. However, the real interesting part,was the amazing twist they had set up towards the end. I totally didn’t expect that this person would be the killer. It was also difficult to pinpoint this person because the person was working with someone else,so it appeared that they were innocent the whole time. Alright, that’s as much as I’ll give away as to who the killer was.
Also, some key characters got stabbed. One of them got stabbed to the point where I thought they had to be dead,but couldn’t believe it since they were the main star. They really made the ending quite compelling.
Once again, I thought Scream 4 was very entertaining. It never had a boring moment,and,of course, it had me wondering who the killer was the entire time. I surprisingly thought that Hayden Panettiere did a real good job in this flick. She had a pretty good role in it.
