Final Destination 5 movie delivered outrageous death scenes, twists & more
New Line released their new horror flick “Final Destination 5” into theaters this weekend. I just got through watching it,and I thought it was very entertaining. They threw in multiple twists towards the end, which was cool. Obviously,it lacked originality since this was the 5th film of the series, but still,it was entertaining.
The movie stars: Nicholas D’Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta, David Koechner, Tony Todd, Courtney B. Vance, P.J. Byrne, Ellen Wroe, and Jacqueline MacInnes-Wood.
In the flick, a group of company people go on a retreat. However, on the way there, character Sam Lawton dreams that a bridge they stopped on,collapses and kills all of them except character Molly. After he wakes up,he sees all the things in his dream happening all over again, and tells everyone to get off the bus.
The people who listened, got off,and made it off the bridge before it collapsed, thereby cheating death. But in this movie, death doesn’t like to be cheated, and the eight people who survived, find that out pretty quickly.
Deaths start occurring in the order that Sam saw in his dream, including one girl getting her body snapped over her neck in a freak gymnastic accident,a girl gets her eyeball burned and flies out a window,a guy gets his head decapitated while getting an Asian message, and more. The deaths were pretty outrageous, and looked very unbelievable.
Having gotten a “tip off” that they needed to kill another person to have death pass over them, led to a huge twisting conclusion that turned one of the survivors into a murderer. Then after all the dust cleared, and you thought it was over, they threw in another big horrifying twist to cap it all off.
Again,I thought the movie was interesting to watch, especially with the new twists they threw in. As always, they made the death scenes quite graphic,so if that bothers you,I would not recommend watching it. I gave the movie an overall B grade. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here.
