New ‘Alex Cross’ movie delivered great action,drama,suspense & more. Summit Entertainment released their new action/thriller flick “Alex Cross” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was excellent. The storyline kept me heavily intrigued,and the action was awesome and intense. The movie stars: Tyler Perry, Matthew Fox, Edward Burns, Rachel Nichols,and Jean Reno.
In the new flick, a serial killer named Picasso (Matthew Fox),shows up on the scene with a few gruesome murders. Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) and his partner Tommy Kane get called on to the case to investigate it. Eventually, there investigation leads them to Erich Mielke’s office building after finding out he’s Picasso’s next target. This outing leads to a big shootout confrontation between Picasso,Alex, and Tommy. Unfortunately,Picasso is able to escape this confrontation.
From there, Picasso seeks revenge on both Tommy and Alex by killing their significant others. This of course,causes Alex and Tommy to get down and dirty,seeking out Picasso by any means necessary even if it meant breaking the law.
This extreme motivation leads up to a huge,action-filled conclusion that involved heavy explosions,a small car chase,and a big fight/showdown between Alex and Picasso. However,it didn’t stop there. They also went after the man who hired Picasso in the first damn place,so they could take him out as well. It was a very thorough job.
Again,I enjoyed this movie a lot. Matthew Fox did a great job playing the extreme psycho killer. Tyler Perry gave us a look at his serious/action side with this role,and he did a pretty good.
