New Escape Plan Movie Delivered A Great Plot,Action,Drama,Twists & More
New Escape Plan movie delivered a great plot, action, drama, twists & more. Summit Entertainment released their new action/thriller flick, “Escape Plan,” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out, and thought it was absolutely excellent, featuring a very intriguing storyline, coupled with major action, suspense, and more. It stars: Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Amy Ryan.
In the new flick, character Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is a former prosecutor who co-owns Breslin-Clark, a Los Angeles-based security firm that specializes in testing the reliability of maximum security prisons. He spends his life getting into prisons to study their designs and the guards’ habits to find and exploit their weaknesses, thus enabling him to escape without any problems.
However, in this storyline, things get a little more tough for Ray as he’s offered a huge gig by the CIA to test a top-secret prison that’s located completely off the grid, and holds prisoners that are so dangerous that they are made to look like they just don’t exist anymore. After being offered a ton of money to do the job, Ray agrees and goes in under the disguise of a Spanish terrorist named “Portos.”
From there, it’s already revealed that things are going to be very different with this assignment as Ray’s staged capture appears to be way more than an act as he’s beaten and drugged before they lock him up in the facility with no clue where it’s located. Shortly after Ray is in the prison, he’s made aware that this is for real when his secret code to be set free, doesn’t work with the warden, and that he’s really going to have come up with his best stuff to actually break out.
Ray eventually works with Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to come up with a plan to get out of the highly sophisticated prison that is revealed to not even be located on land! Yep, that’s one of the twists. Eventually, their plan leads to a huge conclusion that involves a lot of suspenseful action, gunshot rounds being fire, along with a lot of killing. But when all the dust settled, it provided a satisfying outcome and another twist.
Again, I really enjoyed this flick, it was highly intriguing for the entire run time, so I never got bored or felt the urge to dose off, and that’s always a winner for me. I thought Stallone and Schwarzenegger did an awesome job with their roles, delivering the awesome action they’re known for. I gave it an excellent A+ grade. Stay tuned.
