Top Critics Give ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ Good Reviews
Apparently, top movie critics are giving the new “Where The Wild Things Are” movie, good to great reviews. The movie was just released today by Warner Bros. Pictures. It stars : Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Lauren Ambrose, Chris Cooper, James Gandolfini, Catherine O’Hara, and Forest Whitaker.
The Boston Globe’s Ty Burr gave his critique,saying, “The movie is a wild thing, and that’s not such a bad thing at all.” He gave the movie a B rating.
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times ave it a B also . He said , “The voice actors and the f/x artists give their fantastical characters personality.”
Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune gave it a whopping “A” rating. He said is was, “A nervy and breathtaking achievement.”
Entertainment Weekly’s Lisa Schwarzbaum also gave it an “A,” saying that it was Profoundly beautiful and affecting.”
Finally, Bill Gordon of Filmcritic.com, gave it another “A”. He said, “.the results are amazing, as scary and as beautiful as being a kid all over again.”
