New ‘Thor’ movie delivered great action, special effects & more. Paramount released their new super-hero,action flick “Thor” into theaters today. I just watched it,and thought it was great. It delivered non-stop action and a plethora of special effects.

The movie stars: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The flick revolved around character Thor (Chris Hemsworth) who is the mighty god of thunder. It started off showing a little backstory about Thor’s history, and how he was very stubborn and arrogant. His reckless attitude eventually reignites an old war with another realm. However, there’s a little twist buried within the whole mess, involving Thor’s brother Loki, which surfaces later on.

After Thor almost gets him and his crew killed,he upsets his father Odin to the point where he decides to strip him of his powers, magic hammer, and banish him to Earth. He also sends Thor’s hammer with him to Earth, but it is trapped in rock until Thor learns how to act right.

Thor eventually meets the beautiful Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who is a scientist that’s been studying the magical forces that sent Thor to Earth. Her curiosity with Thor ends up making them grow closer. Meanwhile,Loki lies to Thor about being permanently banished,so that he can take over the throne for himself.

Fortunately, Thor gets a visit from old friends that help him realize what he must do. It also leads to him getting his magic hammer back, and putting on quite a show for a spectacular conclusion, filled with some amazing special effects action.

Some of the special effect action scenes included Thor flying with the hammer,Thor taking on a Huge protector bot,Thor and Loki getting in a major supernatural battle, and more. It was quite intense.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. It never had one second of boring footage, and I really liked the storyline. Chris Hemsworth did a great job playing Thor. He was very convincing both physically and performance-wise. The dude is majorly buff. As always, Natalie Portman did a great job as a supporting actress in the film. I gave the movie a definite A grade. Follow us on Facebook for more movie news, reviews, and more by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
