New ‘Silent Hill’ Movie Delivered Crazy Thrills,Suspense & More
New Silent Hill movie delivered crazy thrills, suspense & more. Open Road Films released their new horror/thriller flick “Silent Hill” into theaters this weekend. I just checked it out,and thought it was pretty good as it served up a ton wild thrills, drama, and more. It was a little over the top in areas, but overall, I enjoyed it. The movie stars: Adelaide Clemens, Sean Bean, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Ann Moss, Malcolm McDowell, Martin Donovan, and Heather Marks.
In the new flick, character Heather Mason and her father Harry have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, she starts to get plagued with horrific nightmares that eventually begin to manifest themselves in the physical world.
Then her father comes up missing, leading her to realize that she’s not who she thinks she is. She’s actually an extension of some weird demonic girl named Alessa from a demonic world called Silent Hill. Apparently, the demonic forces of Silent Hill want Heather to return to Silent Hill so they can destroy the part of Alessa that resides within her and break her powers that have trapped them there. Yeah,it’s pretty intense.
From there, Heather teams up with a friend named Vincent to return to Silent Hill because she wants to find her father as she’s learned that he’s been taken there. Upon her arrival, she’s quickly met by all sort of weird demonic creatures that try to kill her and so on ,and so forth.
Finally, she meets up with her other Alessa half, and argue for a bit before reuniting with her. It was really weird. From there,it delivers a very dramatic,action-filled conclusion that involves Heather/Alessa rescuing her father from an evil demon lady. A huge battle goes down that ends with someone getting their head sliced off,and more. It was pretty wicked.
Again, I enjoyed watching the movie. It definitely wasn’t boring at all. The story was a bit out there for me,and it definitely had a lot of “over the top” scenes, but it was entertaining. I gave the movie a solid B grade. Stay tuned. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here. Follow us on Twitter by Clicking Here.
