New ‘White House Down’ Movie Delivered Great Action,Suspense,Drama & More
New ‘White House Down’ movie delivered great action, suspense, drama & more. Columbia Pictures released their new hardcore, action flick, “White House Down” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it,and thought it was absolutely great, serving up tons of nonstop action, major suspense, drama, and more. It stars: Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Richard Jenkins, and James Woods.
In the new flick, U.S. Capital Police Officer, John Cale (Channing Tatum) takes his daughter,Emily Cale, who he is struggling to have a better relationship with, to the White House with him when he tries to land a job with the secret service. Unfortunately,he gets turned down for the job by a former college acquaintance,Carol Finnerty (Maggie Gyllenhaal). However, John lies to Emily about getting the job, telling her it was still a possibility.
From there, they stay a little while longer,so John can give Emily a tour of the White House. A few minutes later, all hell breaks loose as terrorists, disguised as janitors and other maintenance crew members, set off a bomb, which leads to a full on attack of the Whitehouse. As the events unfold, John gets to prove that he was the right man for the secret service job when he rescues the president from getting killed by his own head of secret service, Walker.
It turns out that there was a big conspiracy going on with Walker and other people who actually worked in the government. Anyways, the twists delivered a ton of action-filled sequences as John did everything in his power to keep the President alive, and to also retrieve his daughter, who had gone missing, and eventually captured by the terrorists.
All the events culminated in a huge conclusion, where John stopped Walker from detonating a missile strike on countries around the world that could’ve led to a World War 3 within a matter of minutes. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this flick. I was never bored for a second. The suspense and drama remained very high throughout the entire run time. I thought Channing Tatum and Jamie Fox did a really great job in their perspective roles. I gave the movie a great A+ grade.Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here.
