New Tyler Perry’s Single Moms Club Delivered Great Drama,Comedy & More
New Tyler Perry’s Single Moms Club delivered great drama, comedy & more. Lionsgate released their new comedy/drama flick, “Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club” into theaters this weekend. I just watched it, and thought it was way better than I originally thought it would be, serving up great laughs, drama, beautiful women, and more. It stars: Tyler Perry, Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Amy Smart, Zulay Henao, Cocoa Brown, Ryan Eggold, William Levy, Terry Crews, and Eddie Cibrian.
In the new flick, five struggling single moms, May (Nia Long) , Jan (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Hillary (Amy Smart), Esperanza (Zulay Henao), and Lytia (Cocoa Brown) put their differences aside to form a support group for each other, called “The Single Moms Club.”
May is struggling to raise a young boy on her own,and not let him know that his father is a drug addict. Jan is so busy that her 12 year old daughter doesn’t think she loves her, so she acts out a lot. Hillary struggles to get to know her kids after having to fire her nanny during a big divorce. Esperanza is an extremely beautiful woman who’s struggling to let her new boyfriend all the way into her life out of fear that her ex-husband will withdraw child support from her. And Lytia is in constant fear that her youngest boy will end up like his older, jailbird brothers, so she puts extra pressure on him to do well in school.
The ladies decide to take turns watching each other’s kids on certain nights, so that the others can go out and party, or do whatever, basically take a break from the stress. However, a mishap temporarily breaks that up. But the women stay strong and stick with it to keep up their new support group and correct things with their kids to bring about a happy ending.
Again, the movie delivered a nice mixture of comedy and drama. I liked the storyline as it kept me interested the entire runtime. I never got bored for a moment. And that Zulay Henao actress is a perfect 10, definite eye candy. I gave the movie solid B grade. Stay tuned. Also, get your favorite Movie stuff, and more by Clicking Here.
