Kristen Stewart To Assist In Production Of Upcoming Twilight Saga Movies Reboot,New Details
According to a recent report from the New York Times, Lionsgate in conjunction with Facebook, has made plans to make another 5 Twilight Saga short mini films, and they’ve enlisted former Bella Swan beauty, Kristen Stewart, to come on and assist with it.
Kristen will be apart of a group of female panelists that will pick five up-and-coming female directors to direct the mini-movies, titled “The Storytellers.” New Creative Voices of The Twilight Saga. Kristen will be joined by other female stars on the panel, which are: Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, Julie Bowen, Twilight creator/author Stephenie Meyer, Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, producer Cathy Schulman and Frozen co-director Jennifer Lee.
This production is being backed by Women in Film, which aims to encourage female directors. The original Twilight cast will not be starring in any of these movies, so we’re not sure how well that will play out. Anyways, stay tuned as this story continues to develop.
