New Ouija Movie Delivered Great Thrills,Suspense,Plotline & More
Universal Pictures released their new horror/thriller flick, “Ouija” into theaters this weekend. I checked it out out, yesterday, and thought it was highly entertaining. I mean, it was way better than I thought it would be, especially with the way the plotline worked out. It delivered great suspense ,thrills, drama, and more. It stars: Olivia Cooke, Daren Kagasoff, Douglas Smith, Bianca Santos, and Ana Coto.
In the new flick after character, Debbie Galardi (Shelley Hennig), mysteriously dies. It bothers her best friend, Laine Morris (Olivia Cooke) so much that she begins to research Supernatural means as way to get in touch with Debbie. And to make things even more interesting, she invites her friend along for the ride.
They start messing around with a Ouija board, and get a response from a spiritual entity that they originally think is Debbie. However, when one of their friends, Isabelle, comes up dead a few days later, they re-explore the Ouija board to discover they’ve actually contacted a young girl, named Doris Zander, who used to live in the same house that Debbie lived in decades earlier.
It turns out that Doris and her mother were haunting them after the Ouija board opened up a channel to let them through. Olivia ends up ,getting some deceptive advice from Doris’ sister, who was residing in crazy folks home, which caused Olivia to actually set Doris free from some sort of bind that the mother put on her, thinking that the mother was evil.
Unfortunately, Doris was the evil one, and continued murdering off the group of friends until Olivia and her sister, Sarah, were able to destroy Doris’ remains and the Ouija board, sealing up the channel from which she was able to get through.
Again , I thought the movie was highly entertaining for the entire runtime, delivering lots of suspense and jumpy moments. I really liked the storyline as it kept me very intrigued. And it was very interesting in how they had the ghost attack and kill people. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen it done that way before. Anyways, I gave it an excellent A grade. Stay tuned.
