New Riverdale Season 2 Episode 2 Official Teaser Description Revealed By The CW
Hey, “Riverdale” fans. We’ve got some brand new season 2 teaser scoops for you guys that’s coming up in the new episode 2 of this current season 2. These teasers are official ones courtesy of The CW. They released them in the form of an episode press release.
First off, the press release revealed that episode 2 is titled, “Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks.”
The first major teaser involves Jughead and a new lawyer. CW’s description is telling us that we’ll see Jughead attempt to find his father FP (played by Skeet Ulrich) at some point. But unfortunately for Jughead, he’s going to seek out help from a new lawyer, and it’s going to cause some very serious repercussions for him! Oh no!
We reported on this a while back during the summer. This new lawyer is going to be played by actress Brit Morgan. The lawyer’s name is Penny Peabody aka “The Snake Charmer.” She’s described as being a crafty attorney that’s on retainer with the Southside Serpents, and Jughead is going to enlist her to help his dad.
The problem is that Penny will prefer to be paid with favors instead of cash. So, the big question is what will Jughead have to pay with? Since the description says this will result in serious repercussions, we can only imagine that this will not be a good situation for him. We’ll of course have to wait until this episode airs to find out what these repercussions are for Jughead.
Next, they tell us that the vicious gunman that shot Fred will still be out on the loose which will cause the residents of Riverdale to be very much on edge! Elsewhere, Betty is going to be quite busy as they tell us that she will set up some huge charge to save Pop’s diner after she finds out that it might get forced to close forever!
Will Betty’s efforts be good enough to save the diner? That’s the huge question for that particular storyline. It does sound like it could get pretty intense.
In this fourth scoop, they revealed that Archie is going to start doing things that cause the gang to really get concerned for his well being. They describe these Archie actions as a string of unusual behaviors. What will these unusual behaviors entail? That’s the big question we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode. There’s no doubt about that.
This fifth teaser reveals that Betty and Veronica will be very busy trying to get Cheryl and Josie onboard to help save Pop’s diner. Will Cheryl and Josie help out? That’s another big question for this episode. We think they will, but we’ll certainly have to tune in to find out.
This last teaser scoop sounds very serious. They say that a previous betrayal will shockingly get brought to light, and it will cause Veronica to find herself at a crossroads with her father Hiram and her mother Hermoine!
What does this previous betrayal entail? And what will Veronica do about it? Those are the burning questions for that storyline. It definitely sounds like this storyline could give us some very intense and drama-filled scenes to look forward to.
Episode 2 was directed by Allison Anders, and Michael Grassi wrote it. The CW also released some promotional photos for episode 2. A lot of them feature the gang hanging out in Pop’s diner. So, it looks like a lot of the scenes will revolve around them trying to save it from closing.
The CW also released a preview clip for episode 2. It features some very intense scenes. At one point, tragic news is being told to the classroom. We’re guessing it has to do with their former teacher getting murdered at the end of episode 1.
There’s a Veronica argument scene with her father Hiram. Archie is seen expressing a lot of concern that the killer is going after people he cares about. There’s also a scene where Betty appears to be threatening Cheryl! Cheryl asks Betty, “Are you threatening me?” Betty replies with, “No, this is fun girl talk.” She says it in a very sarcastic way too. So, that’s real interesting.
Alright guys. That’s all the details we have for the upcoming episode 2. There will definitely be scenes that weren’t mentioned here. So, be sure to prep for that.
