New Riverdale Season 2, Episode 4 Official Teaser Description Revealed By The CW
Recently, The CW delivered up the official episode press release for their upcoming “Riverdale” episode 4 of the current season 2. It features a teaser description that describes some of the scenes that we can expect to see take place in the episode.
It sounds like some very dangerous and more intense stuff will be taking place in this one as Archie’s new crazy plan to go after the killer takes a nasty turn! Betty and Jughead start to experience problems in their relationship! A big showdown is going to happen and more!
The press release also revealed that episode 4 is entitled, “Chapter Seventeen: The Town That Dreaded Sundown.” CW started off their main description putting the words: “TERROR IN RIVERDALE” in all capital letters. I don’t know about you guys, but that definitely tells us that things are about to get real intense. No doubt about that.
Next, they described one of Archie’s storylines for the episode. They say that his attempts to take the matters involving the killer into his own hands is going to definitely spiral out of control! What will all of that entail? That’s the huge question for this particular storyline.
It definitely sounds like it’s going to give us some extremely intense and dramatic scenes to look forward to. We’ll definitely have to tune in to find out what all is going to happen with that plotline.
In this second teaser, they revealed that we’ll see more of Mayor McCoy (guest star Robin Givens) in this episode. She’s going to be busy putting together an important emergency town hall meeting. This meeting will be to deal with all the increasing chaos that’s taking place in Riverdale. It sounds like it’ll be a very intense meeting for sure.
Elsewhere, Betty will be very busy. So much in fact that it’s going to start effecting her relationship with Jughead. CW’s description tells us that she’s going to be in the center of a deepening mystery. She will decide to hide some parts of it from Jughead, and that will start to cause problems or friction for them.
How deep will this friction get for them? That’s the huge question for this storyline. It definitely sounds like it’ll make things a lot more interesting between these two. CW didn’t provide any other details for their plotline in this episode. So, we’ll definitely have to tune in to see how that continues to play out.
In this fourth teaser, they revealed that Veronica is going to be pretty worried in this episode. Apparently, Archie’s latest actions to go after the killer for revenge purposes and the lengths he’s willing to take will make her concern even more intense. CW’s description says, “Veronica (Camila Mendes) will grow concerned for Archie when she realizes the lengths he would go to seek revenge against the person terrorizing Riverdale.”
So, it sounds likes some pretty intense drama could get stirred up between those two as a result of all this. We’ll have to wait and see. Last but most certainly not least, CW revealed that the tensions between the North and Southside are going to reach a breaking point! This will cause a shocking showdown to take place!
How big will this showdown be? Will it result in a physical fight of some sort? Those are the big questions for this storyline. There’s no doubt that it will feature some very drama-heavy scenes. So, definitely get prepared for that.
Episode 4 will also star: Madelaine Petsch as character Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols as character Hermione Lodge, Madchen Amick as character Alice Cooper, Luke Perry as character Fred Andrews, Mark Consuelos as character Hiram Lodge and Casey Cott as character Kevin Keller.
Allison Anders directed the episode and it was written by Amanda Lasher. The CW also released some promotional photos for episode 4. Hermione is featured in a solo pic. Mayor McCoy is seen hosting the town meeting in one of the snap shots. Archie and Reggie are seen getting into that big showdown with the Southside in a very rainy setting at night time. That’s definitely going to be intense as hell.
Betty, Jughead, Kevin and Toni Topaz are seen in a scene together. That looks interesting. Lastly, Alice, the sheriff, Mayor McCoy and Betty’s father are in a scene together. You guys can view all the promotional photos on Spoiler TV’s site by Clicking Here.
The CW also released a preview clip for episode 4. In it, Alice is seen expressing how terrified she is. Betty is seen talking about a disturbing letter she got. There’s a scene where Veronica warns Archie that trouble is arriving! So, that definitely can’t be good.
Next, it shows Archie and his team facing off against the Southside crew. It looks like there’s definitely going to be a fight going down.There’s a scene where Veronica finds some guns. Archie says he wants the black hood dead. Archie and Veronica are seen having another steamy romance scene.
