Disney World To Feature Four Great New Year’s Eve Events, New Details

According to the folks over at insidemagic.net, there’s going to be a couple of great events going on at the very popular Walt Disney World theme park and resort this New Year’s Eve to ring in 2018.

They’re going to be throwing some pretty lively-sounding parties. The first one is going to be held by the Disney Contemporary Resort. They’re hosting it in New Orleans. The party is titled, “A Disney New Year’s Eve Experience.” It’s inspired by the French Quarter of New Orleans and Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” The event will transform the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Ballroom with French Quarter-inspired decor.

There will be an array of stations to sample food like smoked salmon mousse cones and oyster beignets. It will offer a premier dining destination to enjoy the main course. The menu will feature herb-crusted Louisiana redfish, crayfish étouffé, Black Angus beef, braised short ribs and roast filet of beef with truffled celery root silk. The dinner will include a live jazz band for entertainment.

It will also feature a vocalist to join the band to bring the music of “Princess and the Frog” to life. Afterwards, the event will offer a private viewing area near the Porte Cochére for champagne and the stunning Magic Kingdom fireworks show. This event is scheduled to take place on Sunday night, December 31, 2017, from 7:00 PM to 12:15 AM. It also features restaurant-style reserved seating.

Next up is a Disney Boardwalk event. They will be hosting two special events for their new year’s eve specials. The first event is the New Year’s Eve Bash at Atlantic Dance Hall in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

They will celebrate with rockin’ music, tasty treats, high spirits and a dash of Disney magic. They will also have tasty snacks on hand that includes soft pretzels, churros and more. They will provide complimentary party hats and horns along with a view of the Epcot fireworks and a champagne toast at midnight.

The age limit for this event is 21 years of age or older. It’s scheduled to start at approximately 9 pm eastern standard time on December 31,2017. Guests must have a valid ID to enter.

The second New Year’s Event event Disney’s Boardwalk will be hosting is a Dinner and Dancing under the Sea event. It’s scheduled to start at approximately 7 pm eastern standard time on December 31,2017. It will feature a cocktail hour, hor d’Oeurves and a delicious seafood display. After that, they will serve up a family-style dinner with sustainable seafood offerings.

In addition to the dinner, they will deliver complimentary character artist drawings, a live 3-piece jazz band and a midnight champagne toast. Guests of this event will also be able to go to the Atlantic Dance Hall to enjoy the Epcot fireworks and midnight festivities. Guests must also be 21 years old or over with a valid ID to attend.

The fourth and last event will be held by Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. They will be serving up a Mickey’s New Year’s Eve BBQ event. It will be a family-friendly event that will offer delicious food. Some of the items on that will be on the menu are: Bacon Jam Burger Sliders grilled on site, Wagon Wheel Mac’n’Cheese for the kids and Mini S’mores served in Mason Jars. It will be an all-you-can-eat BBQ.

The entertainment for this event will include a live bluegrass band and DJ. Some of the Disney Friends will be on hand for dancing until midnight. After that, the world-famous Magic Kingdom Park fireworks will be presented from a special viewing area.
