Celebrity Big Brother Shannon Totally Broke Down And Lashed Out Yesterday February 13, 2018
Hey, Big Brother fans. We’ve got news of the first big breakdown on Celebrity Big Brother! It all went down around 5:39 pm Pacific time, February 13,2018 on the live feeds. This is when the nomination ceremony ended. As previously reported, Ariadna won HOH. Then she plotted with Ross, Brandi and Marissa to ultimately nominate Shannon and James for eviction.
After the nomination ceremony yesterday, Shannon obviously didn’t take the news very well at all. She was spotted laying up in her bed. Brandi made her way in to talk with Shannon first. Shannon said to Brandi, “I thought you were afraid of Omarosa.” Brandi replied with, ” We were, but after we talked about it. Honestly, she is going to be easier to beat than you are James. That’s the truth. She has asthma. She’s not going to be good at the physical stuff. If I have any chance at all to make a little more money, I could beat her before I could beat anyone of you.”
Shannon said, “But I was fighting for you guys, and nobody was honest with me. That’s not cool.” Brandi said, “But the way it was. It all fell apart yesterday because of the way everything went down.” Shannon asked, “How do you mean?” Brandi then accused Shannon of being huddled up with James at the HOH and plotting stuff with him.
Shannon denied those claims and said she really didn’t understand what Brandi was talking about. Brandi accused Shannon of having an alliance with James and Mark. Shannon said, “No,I don’t. You’ll see. We don’t. I’m sorry it looks that way, but we don’t. They come to me to ask questions because they don’t feel they can talk to you because obviously you and James had words.” Brandi said of James, “It’s not that I don’t like him. I just think that he’s arrogant and it’s annoying.”
Shannon said, “I was so excited when Ariadna won HOH. I went in there and told her how happy and excited I was. I was trying to help us as a group.” Marissa, Ross and Ariadna joined the conversation. Shannon said, “I’ve never gone against you guys not once. I never even proposed going against you guys.”
Brandi said, “But in the game, you’re incredibly smart and you and James are the best players here.” Shannon said, “I wouldn’t say that because strength is just one part of the game. I only have one other win under my belt than Marissa, Ariadna and Ross. Omarosa is a superfan. Marissa is a superfan. Ross is a superfan!”

Brandi told Shannon, “But you’ve been right on everything.” Shannon said, “But I’ve been using it to try and help you guys.” Brand then tried to call Shannon out on all the deals she’s made and basically accused her of having deals with everyone in the house at one point or another.
Shannon said, “No, I didn’t. You knew about our alliance, and I told you about the deal I was breaking when I flipped. And I still stand by that being the right move because I believe Keshia had made a deal with Chuck.”
Shannon told them, “All of you threw me under the bus because this wasn’t the plan! As far as everyone knew, there was a plan. I went in there and talked about it. I was happy for Ariadna. I asked for someone to give me a heads up and when I walk around and no one’s looking at me or talking to me, it’s obvious what’s going on. And it’s just not fair when I’ve had all of your backs this entire time.”
Marissa tried to tell Shannon she wasn’t trying to ignore her or anything like that. Shannon said, “I just don’t see how I’m such a big threat in this game.” Brandi told her she’s won the most competitions and that she’s always been looked at as a target. Shannon then tried to pitch, “So then I’ll always be everyone’s target. So, why get rid of a target early when I’m a target in front of you. It doesn’t even make sense.”
Shannon started to get louder as the conversation went on. She said, “Everyone has somebody to talk to. I’m in here alone. I have nobody! I’m not with James. He has no one to talk to sometimes. So , he would come talk to me. James and I don’t have a deal that’s like a final two. I’ve been in here by myself. I don’t have anyone. I’ve never had anyone. I’ve felt very much an outcast, and I’ve tried really hard to fit in with you guys.
And I haven’t felt like anyone gives a sh@#t that I’m here! I’ve been a target from day one, and I don’t know what I can do to make people like me. Or if I try to help your game, I’m still a target. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I can’t win, and that’s just really hard for me because I feel like I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t.”
After that, Shannon went on to tell the group, “I didn’t expect this from you because that is not the agreement we had.” She told Ariadna, “I was really excited when you won HOH, and I just didn’t expect this from you this early. I’m really disappointed.”
Brandi tried to tell Shannon that unfortunately, this game involves being a little manipulative. “I hate it. It sucks, but that’s this game. We’re gonna have to tell people things that aren’t true in order to advance. I don’t trust anyone because that’s the game.”
Shannon said, “I’m genuinely afraid to talk to anybody, and James was the only one who legitimately tried to comfort me. Nobody else really gave a sh@#t.” Brandi said, “I think we all gave a sh@#t. It was just uncomfortable, and we didn’t know how to handle it.”
Brandi tried to encourage Shannon to win the veto. But Shannon said, “What is there to fight for when everyone feels this way about me?” At this point, she started to tear up.” Shannon said,” I can’t believe that you would do this to me when there are other people still in the house. I would never do this to you.”
At one point, Brandi tried to tell Shannon, “I think you’re overplaying and it’s making everyone else paranoid. This game breeds paranoia. You have to understand and respect the decision. I don’t know what else to say. The game is not f@#cking fair. This whole thing isn’t fair.”
At this point, Omarosa tried to walk in on the conversation. Shannon tried to ask her, “Can you not be in here for this?” Omarosa told her, “I’m not being dismissed.” So, Omarosa definitely stuck around for the drama party.
While Omarosa was there, she and Shannon had a bit of a confrontation. Shannon told her, “You said some mean and hurtful things to me.” Apparently, Omarosa had told Shannon that she’s playing the mean and backstabbing person. Omarosa said all of it was true. Shannon of course denied that. Shannon and Omarosa went back and forth in a he said, she said argument for a couple of minutes.
Eventually, Omarosa told Shannon that she doesn’t want to make this game personal. She tried to give Shannon some words of encouragement by telling her she has a chance to win the veto, and that she’s the best player she’s ever seen.
Shannon said, “I don’t want to fight. I’m not gonna fight. I’ve been in here too long. I’m too exhausted. I’m not gonna do anything. I’m just done. If I could walk out here right now, I would. That’s what I want. I thought you guys knew where I stood. I thought you knew I had your back. I don’t love Big Brother anymore. After this, I won’t be able to watch it. I’ve already known that for a while. When I do well, I’m not even having fun because I’m trying to downplay it.”
Brandi and Ross tried to tell Shannon that she’s taking this game too seriously and that she’s being really hard on herself. Ross tried to tell her, “I really think that might be in your head Shannon because when you walk in a room, I’m excited that you’re there. I don’t feel that I don’t want you around or that I don’t want to hang out with you. That’s something you’re feeling, and I think I speak for everyone in this room.”
Marissa tried to basically tell Shannon the same thing. They all tried to tell her they think she’s the best player there. After that at around 6:10 pm pacific time , Shannon completely broke down and started crying with her head in the sheets. When Shannon emerged from the sheets, she said, “I don’t think it matters what I say anymore because everyone thinks I’m so sketchy whenever I try to talk to anybody.”
After that, the group pretty much said more of the same things to Shannon and gave her more words of encouragement, but Shannon wasn’t having it. She eventually told them that there’s nothing else to say and that she needs some time alone. Brandi gave her a hug on the way out.
After they all left, Shannon was eventually called to the diary room shortly after that. It’ll be interesting to see if Shannon will get over this and put up a fight for the POV today. I must say that Shannon was looking really bad after getting nominated yesterday. It looked like she really wants to be done with Big Brother, but we shall see what the future holds.
