Riverdale Season 2’s New Episode 14 Is Delayed For A While. Official Airdate Revealed
Hey, fellow “Riverdale” fans. We know you guys are probably wondering where is the new, next episode 14 of the current season 2. The new episode didn’t air this past Wednesday and it’s definitely not scheduled to air this Wednesday night either! So, when is it scheduled to air?
Luckily , we can fill you guys in on that. It turns out that the show took another long break. The CW is currently not scheduled to air a new Riverdale episode for the entire month of February 2018. But don’t worry. The new episode 14 is currently scheduled to air on Wednesday night, March 7, 2018 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on The CW. So, be sure to mark that important date down on your TV calendars.
So, what will The CW be airing in place of your favorite Riverdale show while it’s on a break? According to the TV Guide listings, this Wednesday night, February 21, 2018, The CW will be airing a rerun of Riverdale. It’ll be the 10th episode that aired during this current 2nd season. It’s titled, ” Chapter Twenty-Three: The Blackboard Jungle.”
The official description for that episode reads like this,”Tensions mount when the sudden shut down of Southside High forces Jughead and his fellow serpents to transfer to Riverdale High. Veronica ensures Hiram and Hermoine that she’s still on board with their plans for SoDale. Archie is conflicted when he is asked to gather some information on Hiram’s suspicious business dealings. Betty sets out on a quest to find her long-lost brother, Chic.”
That episode will be followed up with an airing of “Penn & Teller: Fool Us.” It’s titled, “I Dream Of Genie Tube.” The official description for that episode reads like this, “Aspiring magicians perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller.”
Next Wednesday night, February 28, 2018,the CW will be airing yet another rerun of Riverdale in the 7 pm central time slot. This one will be the 11th episode that aired in the current season 2. It’s titled, “Chapter Twenty-Four: The Wrestler.”
The official description for it reads like this, “Amidst preparations for the town’s annual Picken’s Day festivities, Jughead interviews Toni’s grandfather and learns some shocking details about Riverdale’s history. In an attempt to get closer to Hiram, Archie tries out for the Riverdale wrestling team after learning of Hiram’s love of the sport. Meanwhile, Betty unearths some dark secrets about her brother Chic, and Veronica and Josie clash as they prepare for their Picken’s Day performance.”
After that, The CW will once again air another “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” episode. This one is titled, “Penn & Teller Are Full of Hot Air.” The official description for it reads like this, “Aspiring magicians perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller.” It will feature appearances from Liberty, Jorge Blass, Paul Gertner and Steve Marshall.”
As for the upcoming episode 14 of Riverdale, The CW did deliver the official press release description for it. It reads like this, “When Hiram suggests that Veronica and Archie head up to their lake house for the weekend, Veronica decides to invite Betty and Jughead to join them. Determined to uncover Hiram’s plans for Riverdale, Jughead uses his time at the lake house to press Veronica about what she may know. Back in Riverdale, Cheryl makes a surprising connection with an unlikely friend, while Josie lands in hot water after revealing a secret to Kevin.”
Wow, so it sounds like that episode is going to feature some very intriguing and intense drama especially between Jughead and Veronica. We actually don’t think they’ve shown us enough of Cheryl this season. We want to see more of her. Hopefully, this episode will be the beginning of more Cheryl action. It sounds like she will have an intriguing storyline in this one.
The CW did release a preview clip for the new episode 14. Also, the episode is titled, “Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Hills Have Eyes.” The clip features some more steamy romance scenes between Veronica and Archie. Cheryl and Toni are seen exchanging some interesting words. Toni tells Cheryl, “Clearly, you’re in a lot of pain.” Cheryl tells her, “Feel free to tremble.” So yeah, it looks like that could be some sort of a confrontation. We’ll have to wait and see.
Elsewhere, Betty is spotted sporting that short wig again while engaging in some steamy role-play activities with Jughead. Towards the very end of the clip, Veronica is seen going in for a kiss with Jughead! We don’t know if that’s some sort of dream sequence or what, but it looks very shocking if that’s what really is taking place. All in all, the clip looks very wild.
