We had mentioned this news in previous articles as it being a high possibility. However, with this new statement from Roberto, it is officially confirmed.

We will indeed see Jughead’s mother Gladys and his sister Jellybean arrive on the scene! Apparently, their visit will be triggered by Jughead’s new duties as the boss of the Southside Serpents. Their visit will be unexpected. Roberto also said that Gladys’ visit will “act as a fly in the ointment for the long-awaited pairing of F.P. and Alice.”

Currently, it’s not yet known which episodes Gladys and Jellybean will appear in or how many. Hopefully, we’ll get some new details on that in the not-to-distant future.
