Big Brother Season 2 Winner And Legend Dr Will Kirby Revealed Interesting Things About Season 20’s Jury & More
Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. It’s been a busy season 20 finale day for us. We’ve got yet another Big Brother season 20 report for you guys. Apparently, Big Brother legend Dr. Will Kirby has chimed in on this current season 20’s jury members with the folks over at the Inquisitr.com For those of you who don’t know who Dr. Will Kirby is, he’s the winner of season 2 and 4th place finisher of Big Brother season 7: All-Stars.
What’s really unique about Dr. Will’s season 2 win was that he did it without winning any competitions whatsoever. Also in his season, there was no Power Of Veto competition. Back then, you could only win HOH to keep you safe and that was it.
If you got thrown on the eviction chopping block, you had to negotiate and make deals to stay in the house every, single time. And Will got thrown on the chopping block a lot that season. He also made it to the final four of an Allstar season where everybody knew how to play the game. He wasn’t in there with a bunch of amateurs who didn’t know what they were doing.
But anyways, let’s get into this interview Will did with the Inquisitr about Big Brother season 20. Inquisitr Writer Victoria Miller did an exclusive interview with Will because he was brought back by CBS to host and moderate the jury roundtable discussion again this season, and he revealed some pretty interesting hints about what Angela’s state of mind might be like in the jury house. He couldn’t reveal too much about how bitter the jury might be, but he did say the roundtable was quite enthralling. He aslo promised that we will enjoy what we see and more.
The first question Will answered was how he felt about this year’s final three houseguests: Kaycee, Tyler and JC. Shockingly, Will said this was the best final three since his original season two! He stated, “I don’t know if I ever envisioned this final three, but I love this final three! This is sincerely the best final three since ‘Big Brother Two.’ Name me a more interesting final three in the last 16 years. You can’t. You really can’t.”
We’re always leery of how honest Will is about these types of questions because we always here from people like season 8’s winner Evel Dick Donato that Will doesn’t even watch the show anymore, and that he just comes on because CBS pays him a ton of money to do these roundtable discussions. For the sake of this article, we’ll assume that Will is answering these questions honestly.
Next, Will revealed to Victoria that he keeps coming back because he loves the Big Brother game. He stated, “I simply love the game of ‘Big Brother.’ There were a few years that I refer to as the ‘dark ages’ where some really boring players won, but ‘Big Brother 20’ has completely reinvigorated the franchise. So am I busy? Absolutely. But you can always carve out time for the things you love!”
When asked to describe season 20 in one word, Will told them that it has been enthralling. Will was also asked if he noticed any season 20 jurors in particular that are salty or bitter. He said he couldn’t really answer that question yet, but he did say he thinks the votes will be close.
Will explained, “Yeah, let’s be frank: ‘Big Brother 19’ had a sore loser or two. No secret there. But that is their legacy. After all, it’s my job to moderate the jury, but I can’t force intelligence on them. They each write their own history book , and ‘Big Brother’ fans are fervent. They will remind those bitter jurors of their transgressions for a long, long time.
See, a bitter juror disrespects the game. And you can hate a player, but everyone knows that you shouldn’t hate the game. As far as this year goes, it is too early to tell if anyone is salty because the votes haven’t yet been cast. We’ll have to see how the keys are pulled out of the box on Wednesday night! But, I have a feeling that it will be really, really close!”
Victoria asked Will what Brett’s mood was like after getting backstabbed by Tyler in the game. Unfortunately, Will said he couldn’t divulge that information because he’s sworn to secrecy, but he did say that we’re definitely going to enjoy what we see. He stated, “Please understand that I’m sworn to secrecy. You’ll have to watch the jury roundtable segment on the finale, but I promise that you’ll enjoy it!”
Will was asked a question about whether or not he thinks Angela got so distracted with she and Tyler’s showmance that she didn’t see the Kaycee final two angle. Will again said he couldn’t discuss everything he knows, but he did hint that Angela and Tyler have a lot to talk about. Will stated, “Well, I know a lot more than I can reveal. A lot more. I think Angela and Tyler have a lot to talk about. And I’ll leave it at that.”
Victoria asked Will about all the final two deals Tyler made with multiple houseguests and whether or not that will effect him in the voting tonight. Basically, Will said this could either really hurt him or really help him depending on how certain jury members view it. He stated, “The jury can see this as great strategy, or they might interpret it as unethical gameplay and poor jury management. I honestly do not know. We’ll all have to see, and I’m truly as curious as you are to find out!”
When asked if Will saw anyone he was surprised didn’t make the final three, Will said, “Things work out the way they are supposed to work out. In my capacity as the jury moderator, I’m just an observer, and I remain emotionally objective at all times.” Yep, that definitely sounds like someone who didn’t watch the show, but we don’t know if he did. Maybe he is really just being objective.
In this next segment, Will definitely hyped up tonight’s finale show by saying anyone who has other plans tonight should definitely cancel them because the season 20 finale is going to be explosive and full of fireworks. He stated, “Finale night is going to be explosive! Expect emotional fireworks! If you have any plans on Wednesday night, cancel them. Every single person in North America should be watching ‘Big Brother 20!’”
When asked who he thinks are the best Big Brother winners of all time, Will didn’t name any names, but he did describe what he thinks is a good and bad Big Brother winner saying, “Let’s reverse that question: Who are the worst ‘Big Brother’ winners of all time? That is much easier for me to address. The worst ‘Big Brother’ winners are the most boring ‘Big Brother’ winners. See, you can absolutely hate a specific winner but if they entertained you, well then that’s the ultimate goal, right?
So, the worst winners are the ones that were the least entertaining. After all, the whole point of watching ‘Big Brother’ is to be entertained.
And how does one entertain the viewers? Employ humor, utilize wit, incorporate cunning strategy, make bold game moves, defy death, escape almost certain execution, own your actions, and be authentic! Those are the things I love! So. boring winners fade from your memory after a few seasons… but entertaining winners never die!”
To cap this interview off, Will said season 20 absolutely raised the bar. He totally showered season 20 and the production team with compliments saying, “This year, the bar was raised! The entire production and casting teams really outdid themselves. ‘Big Brother 20’ was the best season in at least a decade, and the final three houseguests are incredible. They each have a very real opportunity to walk away with half a million dollars.”
Wow, by the sounds of that, I’m thinking CBS threw in an extra bonus for Will’s pay this season. He’s definitely earning that paycheck. I’m not mad at him. Seriously though, season 20 was good, but I’ve just never heard Will hype up any season of Big Brother that much. It makes me wonder.
Anyways, that was Dr. Will Kirby’s supposed take on the current season 20. We really found the hint he dropped about Tyler and Angela needing to talk more to be quite interesting. We reported on this in a previous article that Angela is rumored to be pretty mad at Tyler in the jury house for having a final two deal with Kaycee, and that she’s definitely voting for Kaycee to win over him.
Angela also revealed to TV Guide that she is hurt by Tyler’s final two deal with Kaycee. In that same vein, she said she understood Kaycee having and honoring the final two deal. Angela is claiming her emotional connection with Tyler should’ve been stronger than his final two deal with Kaycee. So, at the very least, it sounds like Tyler will have a lot of explaining to do tonight.
