Big Brother Season 19 Mark Jansen And Elena Davies Sadly Broke Up
Hey, Big Brother fans. We’ve got some sad alumni news to share with you guys today. You guys remember Mark Jansen and Elena Davies from season 19, right? Mark was the huge, muscle bound guy and Elena was the funny radio chick with an attitude. Their season premiered back in the summer of 2017, which was the season that houseguest Josh Martinez handed returning Big Brother player Paul Abrahamian his second straight, final two loss. Oh my gosh. That was such a big deal at the time.
Anyways,the folks over at E!Online are reporting that Mark and Elena have indeed split up. They say Mark actually talked about their break up on a podcast show he hosts on Youtube called, “Find Your Fortitude.” E!Online went on to say that Mark definitely looked quite distraught when he tried to explain he and Elena’s break up. They even said that he looked like he was on the verge of crying at one point!
They pointed out one comment he made, which reveals just how serious he was about Elena. He stated, “I didn’t move to Texas to hang out or continue a friendship. I came down because I was in love with Elena. I wanted to start a family, start a life with her.” Wow! That is quite serious. I actually never really got that type of vibe from Elena. She never came off as the type of girl who was looking to settle down.
Anyways,Mark went on to explain that Elena would say negative things about their relationship, and it made him really upset. He stated, “I was happy when she was happy. It was really that simple for me. I was happy when she was happy. With that mindset and perspective, hearing constantly that it’s not a fairy tale and I’m far from Prince Charming, it’s just a gut shot. Clearly, nothing’s working.”
E! Online pointed out that Mark revealed they had broken up numerous times. He described their relationship as “rocky.” Again, none of this is very shocking. That’s exactly the way they were in the Big Brother house, and it always seemed way more one-sided as opposed to a mutual interest.
Mark explained why he did this break up podcast, which he titled, “My Side.”He stated, “I did this for myself. For all those that are inspired and look up to me. Thank you for all my true friends who know who I am and have reached out!!!”
E! Online went on to point out that Elena and Mark’s break up is pretty evident on their social media accounts. Apparently, they used to post a lot of photos of them together. Now, Elena has resorted to just posting photos of her hanging with family and friends. Meanwhile, Mark has start just posting photos about his personal training business, food and hanging with friends.
E! Online said the last time Elena posted any photos with Mark was on New Year’s day. Elena captioned it with the words, “Happy New Year…from us! Thank you, NEXT, 2018.” In another instance, Elena posted a new tweet that featured her with her season 19 fellow castmates Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson. She captioned that photo with, “I am prayerful that 2019 is filled with love, success, puppy breath, and laughter…primarily for me, tbh,…but also for the ones I love and the ones who love me. ”
