New NCIS Spoilers For Season 16, May 14, 2019 Episode 23 Revealed

Hey, NCIS fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 22. Now that it’s officially aired and over with, it’s time to take a look at what the next, new episode 23 will have in store for you guys. Episode 23 is the second to last episode of this 16th season. So, this season is definitely about to come to an end.

CBS did serve up a new press release for episode 23. So, that is certainly what we’ll be using for this spoiler session.

To get things started, a title was revealed for this 23rd episode. It’s called, “Lost Time.” Whoo, I’ve heard that one before. Anyways,episode 23 sounds like it will feature some very interesting and possible very dramatic scenes as Gibbs totally abandons his team! An investigation of a Marine Sergeant gets launched and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Marine Sergeant investigation situation. It turns out that sadly, a Marine Sergeant will turn up murdered in this episode. The tragedy happens on American soil.

This particular sergeant was actually hailed as a war hero for his efforts overseas. All of this will prompt the NCIS crew to launch a big investigation into this major crime. CBS’ official description tells us, “The NCIS team investigates the murder of a Marine Sergeant in the States who was hailed as a war hero for his efforts overseas.”

What will the NCIS team discover during their investigation? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. It definitely sounds like things could get quite serious.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Gibbs won’t be acting quite right in this episode. Apparently, he’s going to just up and abandon his whole team while at a crime scene investigation!

Not only that, Gibbs will just completely unravel, they say. As a response to this, we will see Gibbs go to see a Doctor Grace Confalone for help. CBS’ description tells us, “Gibbs turns to Doctor Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo) for advice after he uncharacteristically unravels and abandons his team at a crime scene investigation.”

Will Doctor Grace Confalone really be able to help Gibbs out with this crazy situation? That is a big question for this particular storyline. It certainly sounds like it could offer up some very intriguing scenes to say the least.

CBS also released a couple of preview photos for episode 23. Agents McGee, Bishop, Torres and Gibbs are all seen, hitting up a crime scene investigation. One set of photos features Bishop and Torres in a very serious-looking scene.

Torres has his gun out and pointed. He’s ready to rumble. Gibbs is seen in a few scenes, talking to the new doctor lady on the scene. Bishop and McGee are also seen doing some investigating together. Episode 23 will feature one, lonely guest star, and that person is Laura San Giacomo as character Doctor Grace Confalone.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 23 are: Mark Harmon as character (NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Sean Murray as character (NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee), Emily Wickersham as character (NCIS Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop), Wilmer Valderrama as character (NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres), Maria Bello as character (NCIS Special Agent Jaqueline “Jack” Sloane), Brian Dietzen as character (Dr. Jimmy Palmer), Diona Reasonover as character (Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines), Rocky Carroll as character (NCIS Director Leon Vance) and David McCallum as character (Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard).

Episode 23 was written by Frank Cardea & Scott Williams. The teleplay was done by Scott Williams, and it was directed by Diana Valentine.

CBS’ press release revealed that episode 23 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, May 14, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
