‘Ballers’ Spoilers For Season 5, September 1, 2019 Episode 2 Revealed

Hey, “Ballers” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s premier episode 1 of this final season 5. Now that it’s all over and officially in the bag, it’s time to let you guys know what’s in store for the next, new episode 2 that’s scheduled to air next Sunday night, September 1, 2019.

HBO was kind enough to send us a press release for episode 2. It features a few teaser descriptions. So, we will certainly reference those for this spoiler session.

To get things started, episode 2 does have title. The producers named it, “Must Be The Shoes.” It sounds like episode 2 will feature some pretty interesting and possible dramatic scenes as Spencer decides to align with allies from the past.

Joe has to make an apology. Ricky and Vernon contemplate different things to look forward to. Charles attempts to hide something bad and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Spencer situation. It turns out that Spencer is going to find out that there’s some offers being served up that are trying to claim ownership.

In light of this, Spencer will start chatting with past allies. HBO’s official description tells us, “After learning of competing owner offers, Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) engages with past allies.”

How will these new conversation with past allies work out for Spencer? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. We’re not sure about this particular situation, but we are officially hearing that Spencer is going try to offer Jason a fantastic job of a lifetime.

However, Jason is going to get hit up with a counter offer from Joe in episode 3. So, look out for that in the near future.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Joe will have a very important thing he needs to do in this episode. Apparently, he will have to apologize for the part he played in creating a not-so-great working environment, and a sharp Sports X executive named Kate will help him out.

HBO’s description tells us, “Joe (Rob Corddry) is tasked with apologizing for creating a hostile work environment with the help of Kate (Catherine Haena Kim), a sharp Sports X exec.”

Will Joe successfully pull off his big apology task? That’s the major question for this particular plotline. We’re not seeing any other information on Joe in that regard. So, we’ll have to wait and see how his apology situation plays out.

The third spoiler teaser reveals that Ricky and Vernon will have some pretty significant moments in this episode. At some point, these two will sit down and contemplate what’s next for them in their lives.

They will both be thinking of different paths. HBO’s description tells us, “Ricky (John David Washington) and Vernon (Donovan W. Carter) each consider different kinds of futures.”

What exactly will Vernon and Ricky contemplate? What will they ultimately decide? Those are some big questions for their ongoing storylines. We can tell you, right now, that Ricky is going to start resorting back to his old ways to try and deal with a new situation he’s got going on.

As for Vernon, he’s going to land a tryout opportunity at an e-sports company. Look for those two situations to play out in episode 3.

Lastly, we’ve got a 4th spoiler scoop. It reveals that Charles is going to be in a bad spot in episode 2. At some point, he’s going to get some news that’s being described as unwelcome. So, we’ll take that to mean bad news, and he’s going to try to keep it hidden. HBO’s description tells us, “Charles (Omar Miller) tries to hide some unwelcome news.”

What does this unwelcome news entail exactly? That’s the burning question for this particular storyline.

The only other thing that we’re officially hearing about Charles’ ongoing plotline is that he’s going to try to find a solution to whatever this problem is in episode 3. So, look for Charles to be scrambling in the near future.

Episode 2 was written by Rob Weiss and Stephen Levinson. It was directed by Chloe Domont. HBO’s press release confirmed that episode 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, September 1, 2019 at approximately 9:35 pm central standard time.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Ballers” report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
