‘Grand Hotel’ Spoilers For Season 1, September 9, 2019 Finale Episode 13 Revealed
Hey, “Grand Hotel” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s episode 12. Now that it’s just nothing more than a thing of the past, it’s time to see what next week’s huge, season finale episode 13 will feature.
Thanks to the lovely ABC folks, we do have a few plotlines to share with you guys via ABC’s official press release for episode 13. So, we will certainly reference it in this spoiler session.
To get things started, it’s revealed that the producers decided to name this finale episode 13,”A Perfect Storm.” It sounds like episode 13 will feature some very interesting, possible dramatic scenes as Danny’s true identity gets brought to light. Santiago has a hard time over some news he’s received. Sky’s fate is revealed and more!
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Danny situation. It turns out that a big moment will happen in regards to Danny in this episode. At some point, his true identity is going to get revealed. ABC’s official description tells us, “Danny’s true identity is revealed.”
What does this mean for Danny moving forward? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. Since this is the season finale, we don’t have any spoiler teasers beyond this episode. So, we’ll have to wait and see what Danny ‘s future holds.
Hopefully, that will get revealed in this episode. It might not if the producers are holding out for a season 2 renewal. Deadline.com is reporting that ABC plans to finally make a decision after season 1 is completely over. So, that means we simply don’t know if there will be a season 2 as of this writing.
We’ll talk more about that later in this article. Right now, let’s dive right into this second spoiler scoop. It reveals that Santiago will not be having a very good time in this season 1 finale episode.
Apparently, he will be having a very hard time dealing with some life-altering news he’s received from Mrs. P. ABC’s description tells us, “Santiago struggles with life-changing news from Mrs. P.”
What will this huge news entail? That’s a very important question for this particular situation. Whatever it is, it sounds like this storyline could feature some possible intense and emotional scenes for you guys to look forward to. So, look out for it in the next, new episode 13.
Lastly, there is a third spoiler teaser. It reveals that we ‘re all going to find out just what in the hell happened to Sky at some point to cap off this season. ABC’s description tells us,”We finally learn what happened to Sky.”
What in the hell did happen to Sky? That is the huge question for this plotline. We will definitely find out when this episode finally hits the airwaves next week. We’re quite sure this scene will feature nothing but interesting scenes for you guys as this first season wraps up.
We’re not sure if the producers will have enough confidence to throw in any cliffhangers in anticipation of a season 2 renewal,but we’ll see.
ABC also revealed a few preview photos for episode 13. Helen is spotted on the phone in a few of the photos. It looks like she’s having a pretty serious conversation. Gigi appears to be having a serious conversation with Santiago in a few of the pics. So, look for that to happen.
Mateo and Santiago are spotted in a new scene together. Mateo is seen trying to offer Santiago a handshake in the photos. We’ll have to wait and see if Santiago accepts it or not.

Episode 13 is not going to have any guest stars. We’ll only be seeing season regulars. They are: Demián Bichir as character Santiago Mendoza, Roselyn Sánchez as character Gigi Mendoza, Denyse Tontz as character Alicia Mendoza, Bryan Craig as character Javi Mendoza, Wendy Raquel Robinson as character Mrs. P, Lincoln Younes as character Danny, Shalim Ortiz as character Mateo, Anne Winters as character Ingrid, Chris Warren as character Jason, Feliz Ramirez as character Carolina and Justina Adorno as character Yoli.
Episode 13 was written by Brian Tanen, and it was directed by Bill D’Elia. Looking at the season 1 ratings, it has averaged 2.812 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.53 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.
It’s reported that ABC wished the ratings were stronger for season 1. In case you’re wondering, that is a bad sign. I also feel like these numbers could be just a tad bit stronger for an ABC show. However, they’re not terrible considering it would only run during the summer.
It’ll probably come down to how much ABC has to actually pay for each episode versus how much they can get for advertising slots. That is the TV show business, ladies and gentlemen. Yes indeedy. If ABC can churn out a profit from airing the show, it’ll stick around. If not, it’s bye bye for “Grand Hotel.” Keep your fingers crossed.
ABC’s press release confirmed that the season 1 finale episode 13 is indeed scheduled to air next Monday night, September 9, 2019.
