‘Chicago Med’ Season 5, March 11, 2020 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. We are back at you with a brand new article, but it’s not for reasons you’ll like. Unfortunately, we had to jump on here because we’ve just learned that, for some reason, NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 17 of Chicago Med’s current 5th season tonight, March 11, 2020.
The Good news is this delay will only be for this week. We have official confirmation from NBC that the new episode 17 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night,March 18, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to memorize that very important date and time, or write it down on something.
So, what is NBC airing instead of the new episode 17 of Chicago Med’s current 5th season tonight? According to the TV guide listings, NBC will be airing a repeat episode of Chicago Med. This particular repeat will be the 9th episode of this 5th season. It’s titled, “I Can’t Imagine the Future.”
NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “April receives unfortunate news that makes her question her future with Ethan. Dr. Charles and Maggie see tough times on the horizon. Natalie’s memory from the accident starts to return.”
If any of you guys happened to have missed episode 9 when it originally aired, or if you just want to watch it again, you might still want to watch NBC tonight. On the other hand, if you don’t, you will certainly want to get some other plans in motion very quickly.
With all that said, we do have some new intel for the next, new episode 17 of this current Chicago Med season 5. NBC served up an official press release for episode 17. We must warn you that it does contain a few light spoiler teasers.
So, if spoilers aren’t your thing, we do highly advise you to leave this article right now. On the other hand, if you like spoilers, or you don’t mind reading them, we certainly want you to stick around for the rest of this article.
Now that our spoiler warning is in place, let’s go over this new episode 17 press release. To start, it lets us know that episode 17 is officially called/titled, “THE GHOSTS OF THE PAST.”
It sounds like episode 17 will feature some interesting, possible intense, suspenseful and dramatic scenes.
In the new episode 17, Dr.Manning and Dr. Charles are going to help out with a very difficult case that involves a very young, 4 year old child. They will also learn that this poor, 4 year old child is quite a regular in the ED.
Elsewhere, a police officer will suffer from a mysterious gunshot wound in his abdomen. In light of this terrible predicament, Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi will rush to provide medical attention to this police officer.
Also, major secrets will get spilled,and these secrets will certainly test certain relationships!
NBC’s official description for episode 17 reads like this, “Marking the series milestone 100th episode, Dr. Manning and Dr. Charles assist in a complicated case helping a 4-year old who they quickly learn is no stranger to the ED.
Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi tend to a police officer with a mysterious gunshot wound to the abdomen. Relationships are put to the test as secrets are revealed.”
Again, NBC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Chicago Med’s current 5th season is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, March 18, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
