‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Finally Started Filming New Episodes Again Today June 17, 2020
Hey, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We have got some totally terrific news for you guys in this article. As we previously reported, The Los Angeles county finally got approval for the TV and film industry over there to get back to work, making new content last week.
Now, we’ve got a new update from the folks over at Deadline.com. They are reporting that the cast and crew of your favorite soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful will be the first ones to take advantage of that approval notification by actually starting back filming new episodes today,June 17, 2020!
If that weren’t enough, The Bold And The Beautiful crew actually plans to get new episodes airing by early-to-mid July 2020! We’re guessing it will most likely be mid-July, but it would certainly be a welcome surprise if they could get some new episodes airing by early July.
They began pre-production on June 16, 2020. The cast and crew were also tested for the Covid-19 virus yesterday. The testing will be done on a regular basis as part of the increased safety protocols that are in place.
The safety protocols also include everyone working shorter days with staggered call times and a smaller amount of people on set at any given time. They also reworked some of the scripts around the safety guidelines.
The Bold And The Beautiful also had to hire a Covid-19 coordinator to stay on set and enforce all of the safety guidelines. It’s reported that the cast and crew will have to wear masks at all times when they’re not filming new scenes.
The folks over at USA Today also ran a report on this situation with a few extra details. Eva Basler who is a spokesperson for Bell-Phillip Television Productions is the one who confirmed that the cast started back filming new episodes today.
Also, Dollar Bill Spencer star Don Diamont hit up his Instagram account to confirm they are back to work with full safety precautions in place. He wrote, “HERE. WE. GO. Every bit of safety protocol imaginable is in place,and @boldandbeautifulcbs is back in production!!! LET’S ROLL!!!

Other safety protocols that were mentioned is that the cast must sanitize their hands before and after scenes and have regular symptom check-ups. The scriptwriters are highly discouraged from including scenes that require close contact, such as intimate or fighting scenes.
