‘Tough As Nails’ July 22, 2020 Eliminated Lee Marshall From Individual Challenges (Recap)

Hey, “Tough As Nails” fans. Tonight, July 22, 2020, another episode of Tough As Nails did indeed air, and another unlucky person was eliminated from individual challenges when it was all said and done.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with host Phil Keoghan showing up to introduce the next team challenge. During this challenge, they had to build some fences made of barbwire, posts and other materials. The “Dirty Hands” team selected Melissa to be their team lead.

The “Savage Crew” chose Murph to be their team lead. During the comp, the Savage Crew appeared to be extremely disorganized. Meanwhile, Melissa was able to keep “Dirty Hands” well organized, and they jumped off to an early lead.

Tara actually ended up being the leader for the Savage Crew. She was running off, giving orders and doing her own thing.

“Dirty Hands” ran into a problem with the wooden post. They needed to take it apart. This mistake enabled Savage Crew to get back into this competition

However, the Dirty Hands crew got it together and fixed that wooden post issue in time to claim the win! Afterwards, Melissa said, “Communication was key to making the nice pen fence.” Melissa was given a badge of honor and $1,000 to split up with her team.

The Savage crew played the blame game. Tara and Linnett argued about who to blame. Linnett told Tara she needed to listen more instead of running off and trying to do her own thing. Tara told the private cams, “I don’t know why Linnett was coming at me so hard.”

Next up, was the individual challenge. This one was a little different as they were split up into teams of two.

Murph got to pick the teams. He chose Danny to be on his team. Then he chose Lee and Michelle, Kelly and Young, Tara and Miles and Linda and Luis as the other teams of two.

During this challenge, they had to build an irrigation system in a field. When they were done, all their sprinklers needed to run without any leaks. Melissa and Linnett couldn’t compete in this challenge since they had already been eliminated from individual challenges.

During the irrigation challenge, Luis and Linda started struggling and falling behind. Murph and Danny had no problems ,and they completed it first. Miles and Tara finished it second. Linda and Luis finished 3rd. Callie and Young finished 4th, narrowly avoiding going into overtimne.

Michelle and Lee had to go into overtime since they were the last ones to finish the irrigation challenge.

In Michelle and Lee’s overtime challenge, they had to undo bails of heavy haystacks. Then they had to move them under a Bell and stack the haystacks high enough to where they could climb on top of them and ring the Bell.

Whoever did it first, won. When it was all said and done, Michelle just edged out Lee to claim the victory and survive overtime!

So, Lee had to punch out from the individual competitions and join Michelle and Linnett.

The next, new episode of “Tough As Nails” is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, July 29, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on CBS.
