‘Tough As Nails’ August 12, 2020 Eliminated Michelle Kiddy From Individual Comps (Recap)
Hey, “Tough As Nails” fans. Tonight, August 12, 2020, another new episode of “Tough As Nails” did indeed air ,and another unlucky contestant got eliminated from the individual competitions, losing their shot at winning that $200,000 grand prize.
However, everyone was still eligible for the $60,000 team, grand prize. The team with the most wins this season, won it. Both teams revealed they were really pumped for this next team challenge because if Dirty Hands won it, they would automatically confirm the most comp wins since they were leading 4-1 with only 3 more team comps to play.
If The Savage Crew won this next team challenge, they would save their chances of winning the $60,000 dollar team, grand prize.
Next, host Phil Keoghan showed up with the next team challenge. In it, they had to move everything out of a house garage. Then successfully load it onto a truck and close all the latches for the win. The winning team was awarded $12,00 dollars for this win.
The Savage Crew chose Tara to be their team leader for this comp, and Dirty Hands chose Linda as their team leader.
During the comp, the Dirty Hands crew took up a lot of time by overthinking things. Meanwhile, the Savage Crew got to work real fast, loading up their truck.
The Savage Crew maintained their lead and got their door latches closed first for the win and an opportunity to still win that precious $60,000 team, grand prize.
Phil pointed out that the Dirty Hands crew now led The Savage Crew 4-2 in team comp wins with only two left to play. Tara also got the badge of honor for leading the Team Savage Crew to victory in this round.
Next up, was the individual challenge. In it, they had to pick up and throw as many trash bags as they could into a moving garbage truck before it crossed a finish line. The one who got the most trash bags into the truck, won. The winner of this comp also got an advantage for the next individual challenge.
Danny ended up throwing 18 bags into the garbage truck. Murph threw in 20, Young threw in 16. Linda threw in 17. Miles threw in 13 before tripping due to his bad knee. Michelle only threw in 4 trash bags. Callie threw 14 to narrowly escape having to go into overtime.
Miles and Michelle threw in the least amount of bags. So, they had to compete in overtime. Murph won the individual comp with 20 trash bags. So, he got an advantage for the next individual competition.
In the overtime challenge, Miles and Michelle had to complete a pattern of paving stones on a patio. It had to be an exact replica of an example they were shown. The one who did it first, won.
Miles completed it before Michelle to finally get her eliminated from the individual competitions.
